“It was absolutely amazing. Without
going to the show I don't know if I
would have ever found my
photographer or my florist. Without
both of them the wedding wouldn't
have been nearly as special with the
moments that were captured and the
beautiful flowers. They both made my
dream wedding come true!” Photography by Scott Kelley Photography
“We attended the bridal
extravaganza in January of 2011
and found it incredibly helpful.
We locked down our
photographer, videographer,
band and found our tuxedos at
the event. It was a load off of
our shoulders to have so many
items checked off our list in one
weekend. “

“When I first walked into the bridal extravaganza I
have to admit it was extremely overwhelming. You have
vendors as far as your eyes can see. I had actually attended
the previous year for my sister but it's different when you are
the bride and have all of the decisions to make for yourself.
Regardless of it being overwhelming, it's extremely exciting in
the same sense because the atmosphere is pure happiness and
joy with all of the anxious brides envisioning and planning
their special day. I personally went not expecting to book
anything but more so to get ideas of what I'm interested in. I
plan to have an outdoor wedding and to my surprise I did find
a company that provided not only a tent, but linens, tables,
chairs, and a dance floor all in one. So that took all of the
headache of dealing with separate vendors Out of the picture.
Getting all of the pamphlets and brochures was helpful
as well because once you get home you get to sit down and
really look everything up that you possibly never knew
existed! Overall my experience was amazing and I would
recommend it to anyone. Not to mention winning prizes is a big
plus! ”

“The bridal extravaganza was a great
place to get ideas about pretty much
everything wedding related. I even learned
about things that I didn't even think about
and now know that I need! I loved all the
samples, the photo booths and especially
the fashion shows. ”

“I attended the bridal extravaganza in
January 2012. At the time, I was a bride and a
bridesmaid. The show is wonderful and a
must-do. It is like a right of passage on your
way to becoming a bride. We were able to
hear live demonstrations from Divisi Strings
(who we later booked) and taste some amazing
cakes and food. It is a great step to starting
the planning process.”

“Kyle has
worked the extravaganza
in Houston. It is a sensory
stimulating event, that is for sure!
The ideas and possibilities are
limitless. As he was working at his
booth, my best friend, Anna Schmidt,
and I walked the floor multiple times.
Make at least a day of it because
there is so much to do and see, wear
comfy walking shoes.”

“I would suggest every bride attend the
Bridal Extravaganza Show at least once. My
mom, Matron of Honor and I attended in
January 2012. We had an absolute blast! I
was able to make so many contacts with
vendors and obtained a ton of information for
planning. It is very organized and everything
is set up perfectly for easy browsing.”

I attended in July 2011 and was AMAZED at
how many vendors were there! It was a
great place to gather information, get tons of
ideas, and knock some items off my to-do
list! I was Maid of Honor for one of my best
friends who was getting married that fall.
She also served as my Matron of Honor a
few months later, so we each walked around
with double name-tags - one that said
"Bride" and one that said "MOH." :-) The
extravaganza can be overwhelming if you
don't have a list or a plan, but it's great for
gathering ideas and contacts!!

“It was a great and fun experience. I had a lot of
fun with my two bridesmaids that went with me. I got
some great ideas from vendors to use at my wedding.
I won several prizes, which was also very exciting!”

“For me, the experience I had at the bridal
extravaganza was really important because it
gave me the opportunity to be with my mom and
feel like a bride. Due to my husbands deployment,
I never really got to do that. Plus I learned a lot.
After sampling every single cake there, my
favorite flavor was absolutely not what I
expected! Looking online is helpful, but seeing
and experiencing different wedding aspects in
person is different. I'm really glad I went. I had a
blast and was able to check some important
things off my list.”
