CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
The Southern Capital Conference is an annual meeting where limited partners, placement agents, consultants and gatekeepers from
across the country come to build and extend relationships with general partners in the Southeastern private equity community. The
conference venue, the Ritz Carlton Lodge on Lake Oconee outside Atlanta, provides an ideal setting where participants can interact and
discuss regional and national trends that impact the venture capital, growth equity, buyout and mezzanine communities.
EXPECTED ATTENDEES
Approximately 250 attendees from a variety of private capital stakeholders:
•
General partners of private equity and venture capital firms
•
Limited partners
•
Placement agents
•
Gatekeepers/consultants
Other than fund placement agents and investment consultants, we are limiting attendance from service providers (e.g. accountants,
bankers, lawyers, lenders, search firms etc.) to only those firms who are sponsors of the Southern Capital Conference or members of the
Southern Capital Forum.
CONFERENCE ORGANIZERS
The conference is organized by the Southern Capital Forum (formerly the Atlanta Venture Forum). The SCF was founded in 1984 to foster
closer professional relationships among the members of the Southeast private equity community through the exchange of information and
ideas. The SCF has grown into the largest trade association for private equity investors in the Southeast, and its membership includes
individuals, firms and service providers in both the buyout and venture capital industries.
