Castle Yurts Ltd. is an experienced company based in the Herefordshire countryside which
specialises in supplying bespoke, hand-crafted large yurts for hire . Our yurts offer a stylish
alternative to the traditional marquee, making a striking architechtural statement whilst
maintaining a simple, classical elegance.
Castle Yurts
Our yurts provide beauti ful spaces to grace any event or set ng. Whether it's a party in the
garden, wedding, exhibiti on/performance space, festi val, or simply extra room in the garden, our
yurts will add something special to any occasion. We have had the pleasure of providing yurts for
many a happy bride and groom, as well as plenty of experience working with festi vals and
providingyurts for concert/music venues.
We off er a variety of sizes to suit your needs, ranging from 10ft diameter camping / garden yurts
to our majesti c 60ft Yurt, made specif cally with weddings in mind. To our knowledge, this is
currently the largest yurt in Europe. So not only does it provide a stunning space for
entertaining, but it will also help to make your event truly unique and memorable. As well as
providing yurts for hire, we also take on commissions to make our yurts for sale. We make these
to our customers' specif cati on and can accommodate a variety of requirements. They can be
sawn or coppiced, have a variety of canvas cover colours, solid doors, canvas doors, plat orms,
windows....the list goes on!
All our yurts are handmade by us at our home in Herefordshire and fnished to a very high
standard. We have a strong commitment to the environment and the sustainability of our
products. The yurts are made from sustainably sourced Briti sh hardwood which we are lucky to
be able to harvest locally.
We pride ourselves not only on the quality of our products but also on the quality of our service.
We are an experienced business and our yurts are always delivered and erected by a team of
polite, thorough, ef cient and professional staff . Our yurts come ft ed with a fame- retardant,
waterproof canvas and we have full public liability insurance.
Weddings
We have two main sizes of large wedding yurts available : our majesti c 60ft diameter yurt and a
new 35ft diameter yurt. For more inti mate weddings of up to 54 guests we have our 26ft yurt.
We created our majesti c 60ft Yurt with weddings specif cally in mind; it is a unique and
spectacular alternati ve to a traditi onal marquee which is large enough to seat all of your guests
in one space. The yurt can comfortably accommodate between 100–200 guests seated around a
35ft diameter inner circle which is perfect for a dance foor or performance space.
The 60ft Yurt encloses 2800 square feet with the top soaring some 24ft above the ground. At the
apex is a circular window which ensures that the space is graced with as much natural light as
possible during the day.
The white cot on canvas helps to create a light and airy feel and looks fantasti c when the yurt is
illuminated at night.
Our stunning yurts require relati vely lit le inside in terms of décor. Oft en with a marquee, it is a
questi on of disguising the fact it is a marquee, whereas with a yurt it is more a mat er of
enhancing what is already there.
Additi onal yurts can be joined onto the 60ft Yurt to provide extra rooms which can be used for a
variety of purposes such as catering spaces, bars, chill out rooms/lounges or as an entrance hall
to the main yurt.

Events
Previously our yurts have been used for a variety of events from Zumba to storytelling. Our 60ft
Yurt in parti cular makes an ideal and unique space for music festi vals, performances, workshops
and corporate and charity events.
Out 60ft Yurt provides a welcome change to standard
venue structures and was described as the most
atmospheric venue at the Shambala Festi val last year.
Whether you need a light, airy and spacious structure or
a cosy retreat from the worst of Briti sh summer weather,
we have a yurt to suit your requirements. The

Refundable damage deposits will be refunded within 7 days of the take down of the hired structures. Fair wear and
tear is accepted
A deposit of 35% is required to secure all bookings.
Delivery charges are made per mile, calculated using AA Route planner from our Herefordshire HQ – Postcode HR3
6QF. The charge is for a round trip, e.g. if it were 50 miles from HR3 6QF to your location, we would charge for 100
miles.
Any of our yurts hired alongside the 60ft yurt incur no delivery charge.
