SCREAMING EAGLE
A monthly publication by Faith Christian School ~ Williams Bay, WI
DECEMBER, 2015
FROM THE ADMINISTRATOR’S DESK
- Craig Skrede -
I am thankful for the clear understanding of what this holiday is
truly about. The way I view Christmas and other life issues is
through the lens of scripture. Through a Biblical worldview I have
the absolute understanding that God sent Jesus to earth (what we
now call Christmas) to live among us and eventually be the atonement for our sins. What a glorious truth, that God would love us so
much that He would send His only Son to die for us, (Jn. 3:16) and
rise again before ascending to heaven. The truth of God sending
His Son is the worldview that we promote at FCS as it is taken from
the inerrant Word of God as absolute truth. (Luke Chapter 2)
I invite you to join us for the FCS Christmas Concerts to be held
in the Commons at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 15 th
(Elementary) and Thursday, December, 17th (Jr. / Sr. High) as we
celebrate Christmas. We will be hearing from the band along with
the Elementary, Jr. High, and Sr. High choirs.
A big thank you to all who helped in unloading, organizing, and
delivering the wreaths over the last couple of weeks. We greatly
appreciate Carrie Goetsch and all of you volunteers. We want to
say, “Thank You”, for making a really big job smaller with the many
hands that were offered!
I encourage you to spread the reason for the season.
Merry Christmas!

homemade soup and took home a student-created ceramic bowl.

and local food pantry. Thank you, Mrs. Bakic and Mrs. Erdman for
all your time and hard work invested in this project.
There are still a number of bowls available to purchase.. Stop

wonderful Christmas gift for Grandma. Or, use these creations to

TARGET—TAKE CHARGE OF EDUCATION PROGRAM
Please note changes to this program...
Since 1946 Target has been giving back to communities. This year, they reached
a significant milestone in that giving: over $1 billion of support to education—nearly
half of which has benefitted schools across the country as part of the Take Charge of
Education program.
As Target continues to look for the most impactful ways to support the causes that
are most important to their customers, they have decided to end the TCOE program
as of May 14, 2016. Our school will receive the last payout check shortly after
the program ends.
Thank-you, thank-you, school families and friends of FCS, for taking part in
the “Take Charge of Education” program as you shopped at Target over the years.
The funds have certainly been a blessing for our school.
