“Celebrity Waiter Dinner and Auction is Victorious”
Dean Heid, Marketing Coordinator
HomeCare Matters Home Health and
Hospice thanks everyone who brought
home the “W” and made the 2013
Celebrity Waiter Dinner and Auction a huge
success. We asked that you meet your
hometown team on the field, and you did
not disappoint by raising $12,500 for Home
Health and Hospice Care.
Each year, the Celebrity Waiter Dinner
and Auction keeps growing and is able to
provide nursing care and services free of
charge to members of our community who
could not have afforded it otherwise. Donor’s dollars, auction items, and winning bids go
directly to fund our life improving mission of ensuring that everyone has access to the
treatment they deserve, regardless of their income level or ability to pay.
The amount of $12,500 can provide a patient’s hospital bed for 215 days, a month of
oxygen for 140 patients, 2 months worth of medication for 30 patients, or 90 days of a
patient’s hospice care including nursing, home health aides, medication, social and chaplain
services and family bereavement support.
HomeCare Matters recognizes our sponsors, celebrity waiters, Auctioneer and Bucyrus
Mayor Roger Moore, former Buckeyes James Cotton, Courtland Bullard and Michael Wiley
of Buck Icon, our hardworking and dedicated staff and all the attendees who made the
night one of high-bidding giving and fundraising fun. Wait until you see what we have instore for you next year! Thanks for helping your community and thanks for supporting
HomeCare Matters Home Health and Hospice.
HomeCare Matters Home Health and Hospice and
Hospice of Morrow County are teaming up again to
help area kids with “Journey” Summer Children’s
Grief Camp, July 25, 26, and 27.
Now in it’s eighth year, “Journey” ~ Summer
Children’s Grief Camp is free and open to children
ages 6-14. Registration is required. For more
information or to register a child, parents or
guardians can call HomeCare Matters at 419-4687985, 1-800-4-Nurses or visit our website at
