and explaining why you wish to attend this camp.

The University of New England Portland Campus will
host a fun educational opportunity for students who
have an interest in the field of dental medicine.
Dental Medicine encompasses
several careers, some of which are:
•General dentistry
• Dental hygiene
• Laboratory technician
Please provide a written reference from a teacher,
guidance counselor, or other professional
acquaintance who can attest to your interest in
a health career.
Some of the activities that will
be offered include:
• Job shadowing at a dental office
• Hands on dental simulation
• Practice drilling a tooth on a
dentistry mannequin
• CPR certification
