#ReasonsToLearnSpanish
The Spanish language represents the spirit of a passionate culture, where heritage
meets modernity and barriers are broken. The second most widely spoken language
in the world is waiting for you; it will open your mind and enrich your future.
Enforex students at Alcazaba | Malaga
Why learn Spanish?
IT OPENS DOORS
Spanish is the official language in over 22 countries. More than 426 million
people speak Spanish worldwide and 535 million are forecasted to speak it by
2030. The US will become the top Spanish speaking country in 2050.
Spanish is one of the most important languages used in international business
and political forums and it is an official language of the EU, MERCOSUR,
UNESCO, the UN, GATT, ONUDI & U.I.T.
In the globalized world, companies that use Spanish have an advantage over
those that do not. Both Spanish and Latin American companies are becoming
increasingly international and more and more influential all over the world.
PERSONAL AND
PROFESSIONAL GROWTH
Learning Spanish supports the
development of your personal and
professional skills. Spanish is globally
recognized in the business world, as
negotiations and trade agreements in
both hemispheres rely increasingly on
the use of Spanish.
6
A PASSIONATE CULTURE
Both in Spain and Latin America,
locals are open, warm and more than
happy to share. Social life is important
and you’ll experience the excitement
of exploring museums, tapas bars
and amazing landscapes with native
Spanish-speaking friends.
BUSINESS IN SPANISH
IN LATIN AMERICA
Economies in Latin American countries
have emerged as key players in recent
years. International business centers like
Chile, Colombia and Panama, among
others, have become important meeting
points for trade relations with North
America, Europe and Asia.
Knowing how to speak Spanish is,
without a doubt, the best tool for any
professional to be able to better relate
to the local culture, delve deeper into
business initiatives, and to be able to
build stronger ties to Latin American
economies and companies.
Moreover, a good understanding of
Latin American countries and cultures
will open the door to building strong
personal relationships, the best way
to understand the wants and needs of
customers in these markets.

#Becoming
Spanish/LatinAmerican
Imagine the day you start to think in Spanish. You understand what is happening around
you, you go to a bar and have no trouble ordering some tapas from the waiter, like any
other local. Not only do you get your Spanish and Latin American friends’ jokes,
you’re now the one making the jokes. You’re definitively becoming Spanish… or Latino!
Cultural activities
& excursions
At Enforex, we strongly believe that languages are
not meant to be confined to the classroom.
Our experienced teachers and staff are always there
for their students. Afternoon visits and weekend trips
make for a real and full cultural experience. Trips
to museums, cathedrals, architectural landmarks,
nearby cities, and other areas of interest will enrich
your experience in every way.
For our academic staff, activities and excursions
play an integral part in the teaching process, helping
students gain a wider understanding of the Spanish
culture, and allowing them to contextualize what
they’ve learned in the classroom.
On the first day of class, you will receive a folder that
includes a calendar of the month’s cultural activities
and excursions. Weekly cultural activities take place
in the afternoons and evenings, and most are free of
charge (museums, city tours, etc.). Longer weekend
trips & excursions are also available for an extra fee.

#LearningFast
At Enforex our academic team’s greatest commitment is to actively participate in the
academic and personal growth of each and every one of our students. Academic and
pedagogical planning are fundamental and distinctive tools that have been used by
Enforex for over 25 years.
Learning programs are organized into 6 levels, following the Common European Framework
of Reference for Languages (CEF or CEFR). Personalized progress tracking is the best way
to show you the progress you’ve made so that you can achieve your goals.
BASIC
ELEMENTARY
INTERMEDIATE
You will learn how to form
fundamental grammatical and
communicative structures in Spanish,
such as greetings, talking about
yourself, giving an opinion, and
conjugating verbs in the present
tense, along with other skills. You will
also acquire a basic understanding of
Spanish culture and society.
You will increase your knowledge of
grammar and vocabulary and be able
to express yourself functionally in
various communicative contexts. You
will also gain a greater awareness of
Spanish culture and society. Skills to
acquire include: expressing an opinion,
comprehension and narration.
You’ve made the leap and have begun
to be able to express yourself at a
functional level and to achieve a certain
level of fluency in the language; you also
have a greater understanding of the
Spanish way of life. By improving your
understanding of both linguistic and
extra linguistic structures, you will start
to communicate much more effectively.
Do you want to live this experience
in person? You just got to Barcelona
and you want to ask a local where the
Sagrada Familia is, and for the time
being you can say a shy “Hola, ¿Qué tal?”
This will be your starting point.
18
Imagine you visit the Mercado de San
Miguel in Madrid and love listening to the
flow of conversation you hear all around
you. You have built up the courage to say
“¿Cuánto cuesta una caña y una tapa de
tortilla, señor?” You’re advancing!
Your familiarity with the Spanish
language has grown considerably; you’re
in the metro in Valencia but it has broken
down. A message is announced through
the intercom and you’re totally calm;
you understood that the problem will be
solved soon.
ADVANCED
SUPERIOR
PROFICIENCY
You will have greatly increased
your ability to debate and express
opinions in detail, link phrases and
sentences cohesively, and begin to
converse about more complex topics
outside the scope of commonplace
linguistic exchanges. You will work
on dominating the subjunctive tense
in all its contexts, comparing it to the
indicative; and you will be able to use
paraphrasing effectively.
This course is for students who
already have a solid understanding of
the Spanish language and are able to
communicate effectively. You will learn
to express abstract ideas, perfect
your grammar skills and dominate
idioms. You will also gain a wider
understanding of Spanish culture.
This course is for students with a high
command of the Spanish language who
want to perfect all areas of linguistic
proficiency and to become fully bilingual.
You will focus on refining your oral and
written skills while developing a global
perspective of Spanish culture in relation
to your particular field of interest.
Your level of Spanish has moved beyond
being inhibited by vocabulary and
grammar barriers. You participate fluently
in and understand all of the conversations
your friends engage in. You are able
to hold your own in both personal and
professional environments. You’re clearly
just another member of the group!
Your passionate spirit for Spanish culture
and in particular for Barcelona, where
you’ve just finished a Master’s in Cultural
Management, has given you the chance
to communicate, in detail, the artistic and
social activities happening in the city each
week in a column in a national newspaper.
What baroque square in your city are you
going to talk about at the conference you’ll
attend at the Faculty of Arts?
Your family’s visit to Seville couldn’t
have gone better. Your host nephew’s
needs required special attention at the
hotel: a baby cot, heaters, a special bath,
flexibility at check in and checkout… You
managed to transmit all of this in writing
using excellent Spanish. Continue on
this path and you’ll achieve many more
victories in the future.

YourFuture
Learning Spanish will allow you to advance professionally; it will
open new business opportunities to you in countries where
Spanish is spoken or in those with a growing interest in the
Spanish speaking world.
BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) countries’ interest in the Spanish speaking world
has grown exponentially in recent years. In the US alone, there are over 52 million
Spanish speakers, representing 60% of future population growth, which will make it
the country with the most Spanish speakers in the world by 2050. Looking at these two
facts alone, you can see the reach and scope of the Spanish language in the world.
Spanish is crucial in the global economy. You will experience the role it will play in your

DELE Spanish certificates are recognized
internationally. They are considered
prestigious not only by educational and
private institutions and in academic circles
but in the business world and chambers of

Our centers are accredited by the

university credits and certifications for
other international universities via joint

In many countries, DELE certificates are
used by educational authorities and other

the spoken language, along with key
socio-cultural information essential
for gaining proficiency.

because of the nature languages, the

of 10 students per class. Courses
start every Monday of the year, even

COMMUNICATIVE
ENVIRONMENT
Grammar, reading, writing, listening,
speaking and vocabulary are always
integrated in order to expose students
to a communicative environment that
is as authentic as possible.
QUALITY ACCOMMODATION

You can choose from a variety of
accommodation options, all of which
are located a maximum of 30 minutes
from our schools. We take special

INTENSIVE
SUPER INTENSIVE + PRIVATE LESSONS

program: you will focus on all language skills. The goal
of this course is for students to acquire interpretive and
expressive skills while increasing cultural knowledge:
These courses follow the same structure as Intensive
+ Workshops Courses and includes 5 additional private
lessons. They include the same fundamentals as
Intensive Courses as well as focused work on Hispanic
culture:
• LISTENING: Students practice listening techniques and
strategies to understand spoken Spanish and to improve
listening comprehension.
• READING: Improve understanding of written content and
reading comprehension by actively studying spelling,
punctuation and vocabulary.
• SPEAKING: The development of speaking skills focuses
on students’ ability to express themselves verbally and to
maintain a coherent conversation.
• CULTURE: Language is an integral part of culture; it is the
way we communicate and express our thoughts, beliefs,
preferences, lifestyle and customs to the outside world.
Both customs and language vary based on culture.
• SPOKEN CONVERSATION: Speaking activities and exercises
based on different language levels are used to stimulate
interaction and oral communication.
• WRITING: Mechanisms for communicating correctly
in writing are learned through a variety of activities
and exercises.
• LEXICON: Understanding vocabulary and grammar is
fundamental for understanding and producing texts.
Improving students’ grammar and vocabulary skills is an

Argentina is a unique Latin American country. It is the second largest
country in South America, and its population looks quite different from
the rest of the continent due to the large number of Europeans who
live there. From its deserts and the Pampas in the north to the fantastic
waterfalls of Iguazú and the Andean mountain range, Argentina is an
amazingly beautiful and geographically diverse country. Adventurous
students can enjoy excellent outdoor activities, and if you’re looking for
an urban experience, Buenos Aires and Cordoba are two exciting cities
with all the modern amenities and cultural offerings you could hope for.
People who visit Buenos Aires are always struck by its sophistication and
European feel. Bariloche is a small but important city with a population
of around 100,000 people. Cordoba is Argentina’s second-largest city with
a population of over 1.3 million people. And Mendoza is an adventuretraveler’s paradise.
ENFOREX #Buenos Aires
ENFOREX #Bariloche
Enforex Buenos Aires is found in a prime location, just steps
from the famous avenues Mayo and 9 de Julio and all of the
cafés, shops, theaters and restaurants in the area. You will
also find the financial district, the Obelisco de Buenos Aires and
the National Congress nearby. We are also located just five
minutes from the metro.
Our school in Bariloche is located just a short walk from the
Civic Center and is right downtown. You’ll quickly find that it’s
easy to get around on foot or by bus, with numerous bus lines
and stops within two blocks of our school.

Our Spanish school in Cordoba is located downtown, close to
the city’s shopping district. It is a two story building that can
accommodate up to 84 students. The building is fully accessible
for disabled students and our facilities include: 12 classrooms,
a kitchen, video room, conference room, a rooftop terrace with
beautiful city views, and a large backyard with a garden.
Our Enforex school in Mendoza is located in a stately house
only eight blocks from the city center. Mendoza’s busy
commercial center, bus station and local bus lines along with
Aristides Villanueva Avenue, famous for its restaurants and
nightclubs, are all close by.

#Bolivia
Bolivia is a country that spans from the Andes to the Amazon. With a
rich indigenous, colonial and post-colonial history, this country offers
visitors the possibility of seeing the many facets of South American
history all in one country. Visitors can see Incan ruins, take a trip to
Lake Titicaca (one of the highest altitude lakes in the world) or see
spider monkeys in the upper Amazon River basin. Bolivia offers the
intrepid traveler an authentic South American experience on their
language learning trip.
ENFOREX #Sucre
Our Sucre Spanish school is located in the
heart of the city just one block from the main
square and close to virtually everything of
interest in the city. Classes are held in both
the morning and the afternoon.
www.enforex.com/sucre
Sucre, a charming colonial city situated in the Andean highlands of
southern Bolivia, is one of the country’s most beloved destinations.
Beautiful in its own right, Sucre’s status as a UNESCO World Heritage
Site has helped preserve its colonial charm and picturesque cityscape.
As the constitutional capital of the country, Sucre has always been
influential. Locals and visitors alike are attracted to the markets
where food, textiles and other products are still traded rather than
bought and sold.

#Dominican Republic
The Dominican Republic is a beautiful Caribbean country full of

colonial architecture as for its world-class baseball players. A
country that shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti, it is a natural
gateway in the Americas.

You can enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities in the Dominican
Republic, experiencing its diverse geography: hike through the
mountains, trek through lush jungles and semiarid deserts,
or simply bask in the warm Caribbean sun on beautiful white
sand beaches. While the country is a popular tourist destination,
much of its terrain remains unspoiled. Whether exploring the

#Costa Rica
Costa Rica is a small country with a population of about 4 million
people and has the highest GDP of any Central American country.
Situated between Panama and Nicaragua, Costa Rica’s Caribbean
coastline offers diverse wildlife, ecosystems and beaches while the
Pacific coast is renowned for great surfing.
Within Costa Rica you will find eight biological reserves, six wildlife
refuges and 20 national parks, including Costa Rica’s highest volcano,
Irazú, Volcán Poás cloud forest, and many other fantastic sites. Tourists
from around the world have increasingly flocked to this country in
recent years to explore its pristine beaches, marvel at its tropical
forests and explore trails where white-faced monkeys, sloths, iguanas,
beautiful flowers, rare plants and other natural wonders abound.
Santo Domingo de Heredia is located between the city of Heredia
and San José. This Costa Rican city was important in pre-Colombian
times, and today it is still important due to its unique biodiversity. The
natural landscapes in the area have made it the most important place
in the country when it comes to ecology and scientific research.
Ask residents their opinion, and they’ll tell you that the greatest
treasures found here are the people themselves. You’ll find that Costa
Ricans’ open-minded and positive attitudes are quite contagious.
Playa Jacó, located on Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast, is famous
for its incredible waves and spectacular surf scene. Jacó is a true
“beach town” with shops, restaurants, nightlife and accommodation
options all conveniently located near the water. More and more local
“Ticos” and international travelers are attracted to the area’s rich
natural surroundings and lively nightlife every year. As a result, Playa
Jacó has become adept at catering to tourists, with one of the best
infrastructures on the Pacific coast. The town also hosts exciting
international surf contests.
If you’re interested in filling your free time with every imaginable
outdoor activity like kayaking, horseback riding, biking, fishing, hiking,
canopy tours and of course, surfing, while meeting new people from
around the world, look no further. Getting to Playa Jacó is an easy 1.5
hour drive from the San Jose International Airport.

flavor of fried plantains or the hearty satisfaction of a good plate of rice and beans; wash it all down at the end of

In Cuba, you can visit the island’s beautiful beaches or chat with the locals in one of the numerous squares. The

#Ecuador
Ecuador is a small, relaxed country found between Colombia and Peru
on the Pacific coast of South America. Its population of 15 million is
made up of mostly mestizo and people of indigenous descent. For
a small country, Ecuador boasts incredible diversity, with massive
snow-covered volcanoes, the lush tropics of the Amazon and
everything in between. There are an infinite number of fun activities to
take part in in Ecuador such as whale watching, kayaking, hiking and
mountaineering.
If you’re interested in the arts, Ecuador is the perfect place to
discover century-old indigenous traditions such as intricate sheepskin
paintings and pottery, sculpture, and gold and silver work. Add a
myriad of archaeological treasures and the finest examples of South
American Colonial architecture to all that and you’ve got a lifetime’s
worth of cultural experiences right at your feet.
ENFOREX #Quito
Enforex’s school in Quito is located in Batán Alto,
one of the best neighborhoods in the modern
part of the city. There are spectacular views of the
city from the school’s terrace, and students can
choose to have classes outside with this scenic
background. If students prefer inside classes,
they’ll find well equipped and well lit classrooms
full of natural light.
www.enforex.com/quito
The city of Quito is located in a beautiful valley surrounded by the snow
capped peaks of the Andes. It is a Franciscan city with a surprisingly
friendlier feel than other large Latin American cities. The valley of
the Guayllabamba River where Quito lies is surrounded by volcanoes,
some of them snow-capped, that are visible from the city on a clear
day. Despite Quito’s proximity to the equator, its high altitude gives it a
pleasant climate described as “permanent spring.”

#Guatemala
Guatemala is an intriguing country recognized as the cultural center of the
Pre-Columbian Maya world. Home to fishing and farming villages from as
early as 2000 BCE, these populations grew into one of the most advanced
civilizations in the new world, peaking between the years 600 and 900 CE.
Guatemala’s more than 15 million inhabitants are mostly of indigenous
and Ladino descent, many of whom conserve their Maya customs and
folklore to this day.
The effects of Spanish colonialism are also ever-present. Guatemalans
curiously intertwine ancient Maya rituals with Catholicism and mix
Spanish with over 20 other native languages and dialects.
ENFOREX #Antigua

Spanish and Quechua are both official languages and the country is made

Andean mountain range and the Amazon rainforest.
Interspersed throughout are fascinating architectural ruins from the
Nazca, Moche and Incan civilizations, like the world-famous remains
of Machu Picchu. When you study Spanish in Peru, you’re sure to be

Useful information
VISAS FOR SPAIN:
• Citizens of countries belonging to the European Union do not need a
visa to enter Spain.
• Students coming from other countries should obtain information
regarding the requirements for obtaining a visado (visa) at their
nearest Spanish Embassy or Consulate. The certificates that accredit
and confirm the enrollment in a Spanish program at Enforex can only
be signed, sealed and sent by people authorized by Enforex, who will
not be responsible for rejected visa applications, as these certificates
do not hold any official validity, but serve only as confirmation of a
course to be taken at one of our schools. Such documents will only
be sent to cover the amount of course time initially contracted by the
student. Enforex will send out, free of charge and to any student who
asks for them, the following documents (if and only if the total cost of
the program has been paid):
- Confirmation of the Spanish program chosen by the student.
- Invoice for the total cost of the program in question (course +
accommodation).
• In the event that the student should urgently need the originals of any
of these documents, Enforex will send them and charge the cost of
express mail to the student.
• If a student visa is rejected Enforex will charge the student €100 per
invitation letter sent, the €150 / $200 deposit and any additional basic
costs. The student must show Enforex formal proof (original copy) that
their visa application has been rejected in order to receive a refund. If
this copy is not received by Enforex, 100% of the cost of the program will
be charged.
• Any refund from Enforex will include a 10% charge.
OPTIONAL INSURANCE:
• Students are not covered for any illnesses, accidents, loss of personal
property (neither at their accommodation nor in or out of the
classroom). Enforex recommends the use of optional insurance, which
is available to all students who wish to purchase it.

• Upon signing the registration form or paying course fees, the student
accepts all of the conditions listed above. If, under any circumstances
uncontrollable by Enforex, the prices of accommodation go up, Enforex
will notify the student of said changes. This price list supersedes
the previously existing price list and is valid from January 1, 2016 to
December 31, 2016 for all programs taking place within these dates.
