Conditions of Participation
The athletes need to be officially registered as students, or
having obtained their academic degree or diploma in the
academic year preceding the event, from a university in one
of the EUSA member countries.
The athletes are aged between 17-30 (born 1985-1998).
The athletes are selected and registered first by their
National University Sports Association (NUSA).
Registration
The registration for EUC Rowing 2015 is open from now
on! Please note the following deadlines

General Entry:15th July 2015
(announcing boat classes 8+ and 4+ or others)
• Quantitative Entry:15th July 2015
(announcing all other boat classes)
• Individual Entry: 15th August 2015

The Venue – Lake Maschsee
The Organising Committee wants to create a unique event
location in the heart of Hannover City. EUC Rowing
CAMPUS will be established at the northern waterfront of
Lake Maschsee.
Lake Maschsee is an artificial lake situated south of the city
center of Hannover in Germany. Spanning an area of 78
hectares, it is the largest body of water within the capital
of Lower Saxony. With its proximity to the center of
Hannover, Lake Maschsee is a popular recreation area for the
city’s inhabitants as well as a venue for numerous water
sports.
Lake Maschsee has seen the German Universities
Championships Rowing in 1997, 1998, 2010 and 2014.
The 67th German Universities Championships in July this
year was with 600 athletes coming from more than 40
German universities competing in 25 events the successful
dress rehearsal for EUC Rowing 2015!
Accomodation
Five different types of accommodation are
provided for participants of the EUC
Rowing. All locations are within walking
distance from the tournament site.
Breakfast (if not offered by the place of
accommodation), lunch and dinner (if not
part of the evening program) will be
served in the lounges on the northern
shore of the lake.
The accreditation office will be located at
the ground floor of the Courtyard
Marriott Hotel, which is in walking
distance to the other hotels.
Please note: Each team/university will be
asked to pay a deposit of 150 € for the
accommodation.
About Hannover
With about 520.000 inhabitants and since 1946 the state
capital of Lower Saxony Hannover is located at the southern
end of the northern German lowlands.The area of 650
hectares city forest Eilenriede, 50 hectares Herrenhäuser
Gardens, numerous parks, 20 kilometers of alluvial meadows
of Ihme and Leine rivers as well as the Lake Maschsee award
Hannover with the grade garden city.
Leibniz Universität Hannover was founded in 1831 and
currently hosts almost 25’000 students.The biggest sport
club is Hannover 96, a football club playing in the first
division in Germany.
Social Programme
During the regatta, an additional social programme will be
offered.The athletes get the chance for further intercultural
exchange by taking part into our social activities such as
sightseeing, guided stadium tours of “Hannover 96” or
workshops and key notes about “Dual careers –
compatibility of academical studies and sports”.
