For a number of years Stevinson Automotive operating 6 dealerships with 543
employees in Colorado, had been concerned with how to effectively manage
the increasing number of regulatory and operational requirements in their
dealerships. In the past, their paper-based processes were cumbersome and
prone to error, resulting in incomplete files and costly efforts to both maintain

Human Resources Director at Stevinson Automotive, sensed there had to be
a better way to manage these business processes and workforce activities.
He believed that technology could enable these needs. Kevin had heard

Stevinson Automotive knows that failure to follow through
on key tasks and events can expose the company to both

non-compliance. This accountability and persistence has
produced high compliance results for Stevinson Automotive, where 98% of compliance requirements have been met. Only
new hires represent the missing 2% of non-compliance as they work on meeting their requirements during orientation. When
hiring new employees, Stevinson has a philosophy that employees only enter the workplace once they understand and agree
to the company’s policies, take the necessary trainings for their area of responsibility, and complete other required filings.
For Kevin and his team, this happens at orientation with Compli, reducing the exposure to claims and losses which can occur
as a result of new employees not understanding their job requirements. “Compli has streamlined our new hire process by
having our new hires meet their workplace requirements before they even start their jobs,” Kevin said.
Kevin noted that their prior practices were paper and manual processes primarily aimed at supervisors and management in
only a few areas such as harassment and discrimination. Today, all Stevinson employees are managed on the Compli system,
and Kevin believes, “this has helped in the elimination of serious issues in risk management and losses. We have had a very
good year in safety and our experience modification factor is below industry averages due to our strong management focus,
great training programs, and the ease by which Compli helps us oversee these needs.”
