Introduction
Taumeasina Island Resort is a 4 star luxury resort offering full services and facilities. The island
is set off the Northern Coast of Upolu, just a short 5-minute drive from Apia Township and
offers guests a relaxing escape, stunning panoramic lagoon and ocean views and first class
accommodation and facilities. Built on 14 acres of partially reclaimed land, Taumeasina Island
is connected to the mainland by a causeway, which allows for easy access. The resort features
105 guest rooms in two luxurious styles of accommodation, you will have the choice of relaxing
in our Oceanview Hotel Rooms or our family friendly two and three-bedroom Waterfront Villas.
Each Oceanview Hotel Room is beautifully designed, overlooking the ocean surrounding the
north coast of Samoa. The waterfront villas, which overlook the lagoon side of the island, are
fully self- contained with in-house laundry facilities and dishwashing machines. Our
contemporary two and three-bedroom Waterfront Villas have been designed for the larger
families, groups of friends travelling together, or those looking to indulge in more space and
pure pleasure.

and massages seven days a week. With a choice of locally produced and internationally

Our “state of the art” conference and banqueting facilities cater to groups of up to 550 for
banquet style functions and 800-theatre style. With three individual conference rooms, two
breakout rooms, and a large ballroom we can accommodate a host of special events,
functions, conferences, meetings and incentive groups.
Taumeasina Island Resort offers a total of four restaurants and bars offering an extensive

Location description: A tranquil, private island resort located on the Northern Coast of Upolu,
Samoa offering stunning lagoon and ocean views and white sand beaches. The island is
connected to the mainland by a 90m causeway and is conveniently located just five minutes
(2.5km) drive from Apia Township.
Additional location description: Taumeasina Island Resort is a 45-minute (34km) drive to the
international airport.
Property description: Taumeasina Island Resort is a private island set on 14 acres and
encompasses lush tropical gardens, two white sand beaches and offers stunning views of the
Pacific Ocean and natural lagoon. The backdrop to the island is the mainland of Upolu, which
provides some of Samoa’s most picturesque lush tropical scenery. The 105 guest rooms
include spacious and contemporary Ocean View hotel rooms and two or three bedroom
Waterfront villas suitable for single stays, couples, groups of friends and families. The resort

Contract rates are NETT non-commissionable, in the currency of SAT and exclusive
of Government SAT of (15%). Government taxes may change during the term of this
agreement and the Taumeasina Island Resort reserves the right to pass on
additional taxes that may be introduced.
Rates must be packaged and extended on the understanding that the Hotel will be
featured in promotional brochures / flyers and online distribution, both pictorially and
editorially.
All rates inclusions as per above tables.
Images used to promote Taumeasina resort via brochures or online must be
approved and signed off by Hotel management or their representative
Images must be of suitable quality and can approved print quality images can be
downloaded at www.taumeasinaislandresortsamoa.com/printimages
All relevant information in this contract must be reflected accurately in the
wholesalers brochure and website. The resort will not take responsibility for any
inaccurate information or terms & conditions posted on wholesalers websites.
The resort must be featured as a four and a half star property.
SPECIAL MEALS CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR:
On Christmas Day few restaurants will be open in Apia, Samoa; we so strongly suggest the
Christmas Package is pre-booked prior to departure. Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners
are NOT COMPULSORY but please be advised that limited options are available on those
days on the Island.
CHILD ACCOMMODATION POLICY:
A maximum of two children under 12 years stay free when using existing bedding and
sharing the room with adults. A child-minding service is available on a request basis. An
extra rollaway bed is available at an additional charge in the Villas (see rates)
Cots are available on request and are complimentary. These are available in addition
to MAX in room.
CHECK IN / CHECK-OUT:
Check-in time is 2.00pm
Check-out time is 11.00am
Early check in from 6.00am or late check-out until 8.00pm can be arranged subject to
availability. A charge of 50% of the contracted rate will apply.
DAY USE:
Day use up to 8pm is room rate less 50%
COMPLIMENTARY NON-MOTORISED WATERSPORTS:
Included in the room tariff for all room categories. These sports include kayaks, catamarans
and snorkeling gear.
GROUPS:
Rates for groups are negotiated on an individual basis according to season and forecasted
occupancy. For every 15 paid rooms, the 16th room is complimentary.
CANCELLATION FEES:
Cancellation received inside 72 hours will incur a two (2) night cancellation fee.
Cancellations to booking must be submitted in writing and acknowledged by the resort 72
hours prior to the booking cancellation

CANCELLATION OF CONTRACT:
This agreement contains the entire understanding of the parties and shall supersede any
and all other prior negotiations and agreements. Taumeasina Island Resort can terminate
this agreement and the contracted rates at any time with written notice.
CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP:
If the wholesaler changes name or ownership, Taumeasina Island Resort must be notified of
it at least 30 days in advance and reserve the right to continue or cancel this contract.
DISPUTES:
All disputes arising from this contract will be settled by the Courts of Justice of Samoa, which
will exercise sole and final judgment there upon.
BROCHURE COPY/TAUMEASINA PRESENTATION:
Taumeasina Island Resort reserves the right to approve all published materials pertaining to
Taumeasina for the purpose of brochures, promotions and advertising. This includes
brochure copy and images. All images used to promote the resort must be downloaded from
the Taumeasina Island Resort website.
BROCHURE SUPPORT/APPROVED ADVERTISING:
Brochure support and advertising is to be invoiced directly to Taumeasina Island Resort
once a purchase order has been approved by the General Manager (the purchase order
number must be displayed on the invoice). Funds relating to advertising and brochure
support must not be deducted at any time from your monthly payments for our invoice and/or
statements for guest accommodation, unless written permission has been issued from the
General Manager.
WHOLESALER STATUS:
Continued wholesale status is conditional of you maintaining your IT status with an approved
carrier to Samoa
PAYMENT CONDITIONS: (Credit has to be approved by the resort and confirmed in
writing to you otherwise pre-payment applies)
Your wholesale accreditation is granted on the understanding that all accounts for guests'
accommodation will be paid on or prior to the 20th day of the month following the month of
invoice to our bank account, details as follows:

Package are conditional on a minimum 3 night stay at Taumeasina Island Resort Island
Resort. Island Resort only accepts one wedding booking each day. Prices for the Pacific

The Sunset Bar is Taumeasina Island Resort premier bar, providing a wide selection of
cocktails showcasing the tropical fresh fruits of Samoa, in the most unique sunset area in the

Force Majeure
The resort shall not be held liable or responsible for failure to execute arrangements
specified herein directly occasioned by or through or in consequence of war, change of
government, strikes, riots and acts of god or conditions beyond the control of the resort.
The resort reserves the right at any time by giving notice in writing to cancel this
arrangement should the company fail to fulfil the above terms and conditions.
If you are in full agreement, please acknowledge below and return the original copy of this
contract within 15 days of receipt of sending to confirm your acceptance. Should the resort
not receive your signed acceptance within this time frame, any bookings utilizing these
contract net rates may be reverted to standard hotel rack rates.
