Kids Central is proud to have Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club as our host for the
7th Annual Tee Off for Kids. This year we have more golfers and sponsors than ever before.
We hope you have a great day of golf but also know that you are contributing to making an
impact in the lives of thousands of children and families in Central Florida. In our five county
service area, Kids Central serves over 1,800 children a year who have been abused and neglected
and approximately 14,000 children who are at-risk for potential child abuse and neglect.
We appreciate you contributing to this event as it will provide a significant impact to the mission

Kids Central Chief Executive Officer
Welcome to the 7th Annual Tee Off for Kids!
On behalf of Kids Central, I welcome you to our 7th Annual Tee Off for Kids Golf Tournament.
It is with your participation in this event that allows Kids Central to meet the needs of the
children and families we serve. I would like to thank our Tournament Committee for their hard
work in making this the best event yet. It takes a lot of time and effort to put on a golf tournament, and I’d like to extend a special thanks to Douglas LaMay. Doug is not affiliated with Kids
Central but came to us as a community supporter to assist with planning and executing Tee Off for Kids. Kids Central
appreciates all of Doug LaMay’s assistance. I know he is busy and people like him are rare. Additionally, I’d like to extend
my appreciation to our golf tournament volunteers. They are an integral part of making this tournament happen.

Kids Central, Inc. is the nonprofit, lead organization serving Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion and Sumter Counties.
The agency develops and manages a comprehensive, community-based system of care for abused, neglected and
abandoned children and their families. Kids Central is committed to promoting the welfare of expectant mothers,
babies, children and young adults through prevention services, in-home care, foster care, and adoption.
Together with involvement from the communities we serve, Kids Central is Building Better Lives® and strengthening
families in Central Florida.
