The Pastoral Associate of Resurrection Catholic
Community has the opportunity to work as the chief
assistant to the Pastor in nurturing and inspiring the
people of this community, especially its leading
volunteers and staff.
The Collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human
Development (CCHD) provides funding for groups that make
lasting change and uplift the poor in the United States. CCHD
grants improve education, support economic development, and
help communities provide housing in low-income
neighborhoods. Help us continue to defend human dignity and
aid those living on the margins of society. Please give to the
CCHD Collection.
La Colecta para la Campaña Católica para el Desarrollo Human
(CCHD) proporciona fondos para los grupos que efectúan
cambios duraderos y mejoran la vida de los pobres en los

• Participates and coordinates the liturgical life of the
parish
• Assists as an Ex-Officio member of the Pastoral
Council
• Leadership development of lay leaders and teams
• The areas of responsibility may include:
Evangelization and Service; Worship and
Spirituality; Parish Outreach; Organization and
Administration; Marriage Preparation and
Annulment Work
Those who apply for this position must possess the
following qualities: Manifests a deep faith in God;
Witnesses to a spirituality of communion; committed to
engage the gifts of all of the baptized for the Mission of
the Church; possesses leadership ability; takes initiative;
manifests a hospitable attitude; possesses a sense of
humor; is compassionate.
They should possess administrative and organizational
skills; committed to ongoing formation and education;
involved in spiritual direction, annual retreats, and other
ongoing formation opportunities. Their academic
competence should be reflected by the possession of an
Associate’s Degree or higher. They must be fluent in
English. Fluency in Spanish is recommended but not
required.

This is an exciting day as we
remember that history does not
continue in an endless and
meaningless cycle. Every great story has a
beginning, a middle, and an end. This is true
of our story. We have our beginning in
Christ. Christ accompanies us in the middle
of our journey. And he will return to us and
the end of this age, when God "will be all in
all." Today, we can celebrate this by
thanking Christ, our King, for being a King
of justice, mercy, and love. If we do this
every day, we will be ready for his return and
cry out, Viva Christo Rey!

have placed a new candle stand for the image
of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Please be advised
that the larger candles are not allowed on the
stand for lack of space and stability. Your
continued support for the parish is greatly

prayer intention. Minimum suggested

Votive candles burn as outward signs of our faith that reflect the warmth of our
