BOX™ vs The
Weather
BOX™ Soccer Schools (Dundee) 2nd Spring
Holiday Training Camp! Last year the camp
had a incredible attendance with the players
spending the week 'eat, sleep, BOX™', which
is most likely a normal routine for most of these
players.
This year's camp will be held from 1st - 5th
April 2013 at Dawson Park. The camp will
begin at 10:00 am and conclude at 3:00 pm.
The morning session will be skills based, half
hour lunch, half hour classroom/self coach
session and afternoon will consist of
skills/game play. A nutritionist will be invited to
speak with players regarding an important diet
for physical, mental, emotional and cognitive
growth. A healthy and intelligent footballer will
be able to keep strong and limit/prevent injury.
We will be trialling a 5-7 age group camp along
with the regular 7-11 age group.
Contact Kit Bremner to sign up for the Spring
Holiday Training Camp. The 7-11 is currently
full,
however
places
may
come
about
dependant on interest from the 5-7. So still
register your interest.
The last month has been hard for
all industries. This has been no
different for BOX™ Soccer. As we
took
the
decision
to
continue
outdoors for the winter months, a
cold snap was always going to
come around. It is still the belief
that despite the poor weather the
players
have
become
stronger
because of the wind, snow and
rain.
On another brighter note, during
the time the group of BOX™
Soccer players and parents are in
Portugal, the weather is generally
sunny and 17-22 degrees Celsius.
Just a little reminder of what the
future holds for those lucky few!
