WHAT IS JOB CORPS?
”
Job Corps is a job training and education program offered to young adults
ages 16 through 24 who qualify. While enrolled, Job Corps will provide
your meals, health care and a place to live. Call (800) 733-JOBS to find
out if you’re eligible. Job Corps provides the opportunity to earn a high
school diploma or GED and offers training in a wide variety of career
technical training areas.

WHAT CAN JOB CORPS
DO FOR ME?

In addition to your career technical training,
our expert staff will prepare you for
interviews, assist you with building a
resume, sharpen your computer skills, and
show you how to get and keep a job. After
you complete the program, counselors will
help you find support services, such as
housing, transportation and child care. It is
up to you to determine what your future will
hold, but Job Corps staff will support you
every step of the way.
At Job Corps, you have
the opportunity to get
ahead in life, meet new
friends and see new
places. Most Job Corps
students live on campus,
and men and women
reside in separate dorms
with at least one roommate. Beyond living in
the dorm, there are tons of other activities to get involved in.
