Dear Parents,
I hope that everyone had a restful spring break. I know that the winter seemed long but overall I feel we were very blessed. As we all know spring is a very busy time for our students,
parents and staff. Each Monday I will try and break down each week for you so that you
know what to expect. These last two months will fly by especially for our 8th graders who
have two trips, May Crowning, Green and White and Graduation.
We have an amazing school and our enrollment shows it, we are over capacity and have officially started a waiting list. I am so proud of our students and staff for all their hard work, it
shows in all they do from service, report cards, and athletics. Our final round of ISTEP for
the 2014 year will be at the end of April So if you can schedule appointments around this
we would appreciate it. This final part is all on computers and as you know we only have
one computer lab and one set of laptops, so trying to ensure all 3-8th grade students get
their part of the test done daily is a challenging task. Therefore, testing will be taking place
almost all day during those weeks.
Blessings,
Angela Bostrom, Principal
Saint Malachy Catholic School
God Makes All Things New
Scripture
“I tell you, do not worry about your life
and what you will eat, or about your
body and what you will wear.
For life is more than food and the body
more than clothing.
Notice the ravens: they do not sow or
reap; they have neither storehouse nor
barn, yet God feeds them. How much
more important are you than birds!
Can any of you by worrying add a
moment to your lifespan?
If even the smallest things are beyond
your control, why are you anxious
about the rest?”
Luke 12:22-28

SMS Students Are Outstanding! Spotlight on Brady
and Griffon Ison, 2015 ISWA Indiana state champs
Darrick Snyder, Social Studies Teacher and Head Wrestling Coach at Brownsburg High
School, passed along this message about two of our own St. Malachy students, and Brownsburg
Wrestling Club members, Brady and Griffin Ison:
You had two students who are part of the Brownsburg Wrestling Club achieve great success recently and I was hoping you could recognize it. Last weekend was the Indiana Youth Wrestling
State Finals. This is an extremely difficult tournament where all the best youth wrestlers in the
state come to compete. Brady Ison and Griffin Ison were both STATE CHAMPIONS! This is a
huge accomplishment. I am very proud of them and wanted to pass along the news!

enrolled in a private school or who is home schooled in grades K-12 and incurs costs for tuition,
fees, computer software, textbooks or school supplies.
To claim this credit, provide your accountant with the following information:
