White House News Photographers Association (WHNPA)
and Women Photojournalists of Washington (WPOW)
Joint Exhibition at the Pepco Edison Place Gallery
White House News Photographers Association (WHNPA) and Women Photojournalists of
Washington (WPOW) present a joint exhibition at Pepco Edison Place Gallery in
Washington, DC.
The WHNPA, whose ‘Eyes of History’® contest is sponsored in part by Nikon, Tiffen,
and United is presenting award-winning images from the contest’s colorful and storied
past.
The association supports photographers in their work chronicling the White House,
Capitol Hill, and beyond so they may maintain a visual record of American political
history.
WPOW’s 2014 Annual Juried Photography Exhibition is generously supported by a grant
from the National Press Photographers Association. The 2014 show made its debut at
FotoWeekDC and is currently touring universities across the nation.
This year's show was curated by National Geographic's Elizabeth Krist and features the
work of 15 members, including the Best in Show image by world-renowned
photographer Ami Vitale.
