As we finish our Summer half term its great to finish on a high.
This week our classes have had much fun going out on school trips and entering competitions. We did brilliantly at the Quad Athletics and John Larter
Football Cup that was actually won by our federated school, Woodberry
Down. Big congratulations to them.

Year 1 Sunflower Artwork
This term Year 1’s art topic has been
‘Flowers and Insects’. The children
researched Van Gogh’s and Georgia
O’Keeffe’s paintings of sunflowers and
created their own sunflowers in
both 2D and 3D using different
materials.

Here is a great photo of the children
with Akram Khan who created the
choreography for the event.
