willbepilotingthenumber22CunninghamMotorsportsentryforthe
fullARCAseason,inhopesofChampionshipcontentionandRookieof
theYearhonors.
FillinginthedatesbetweenARCAracing,Kevinwillrunhisfamily
owned,9knon-wingsprintcar.The9kteamplanstorunthemajorityof
theUSACschedulewithafewexceptions.Kevinwillalsobeattending
severallocalandMSCSraces.However,ARCAraceswilltakepriority
thisseason.
Comingoffaseven-winseason,thechoicetoleaveMichaelDutcher
Motorsportswasnotaneasyone.Thetwodecidedtoamicablypart
waysafteritwasdeterminedKevinwouldnothavethetimetodedicate
torunningafullseasonwithMDM.MichaelDutcherMotorsportswill
alsobechasingchampionshiptitlesontheUSACcircuitandneededa
fulltimedriver.“I’vebeenwithDutchoffandonforthreeyearsandwe
winracestogether.Notbeingabletorunforhimthisyearwastoughon
me,buttheydeservesomeonewhocanbetherefulltimeandtrytoget
themachampionship.I’veenjoyedracingwithhimandAJandwish
themthebestofluckin2016,”saysThomasJr.
