Horseshoe Bay Resort offers more than 27,500 square feet of indoor meeting space, including a
12,000-square-foot ballroom. Windows and patios from most meeting rooms allow natural light

Named one of America’s Best Golf Resorts by Golf Magazine, Horseshoe Bay Resort is home to 72 holes
of golf including three championship Robert Trent Jones, Sr.-designed golf courses: Slick Rock, Ram
Rock and Apple Rock. The three courses all have been featured in the “50 Best Courses in Texas” list in
the Dallas Morning News every year since the inception of the ranking. Horseshoe Bay Resort’s newest
addition, Summit Rock, is a Jack Nicklaus signature course and the most exclusive in the Resort’s
family of golf courses.
Whitewater Putting Course Perhaps the most intriguing of all the courses at Horseshoe Bay Resort is the Whitewater Putting
Course, an 18-hole, par 72, Bermuda grass putting course, complete with waterfalls. Located adjacent to
the hotel, this day-and-night-use facility boasts Dwarf Bermuda grass, lavish rose gardens, a collection
of exotic birds and a scenic trail. Designed like a regulation golf course with fairways, bunkers, water
hazards and the finest of putting surfaces, each shot is played with a putter, but unlike a practice
green, Whitewater is a fully landscaped competitive course.

Lake LBJ
Full-level Lake LBJ is perfect for boating, fishing, swimming and all other water activities or just simply
enjoying a day on the lake.
Starting near Horseshoe Bay, Texas, and named after President Lyndon B. Johnson, Lake LBJ is part of
the seven Highland Lakes chain starting in Austin and going northwest for more than 85 miles. Surface
area is about 6,449 acres with a maximum depth of 90 feet. At its widest, Lake LBJ is 10,800 feet.
Fish species include largemouth bass, white bass, crappie and catfish. Wildlife enthusiasts can spy
a variety of birds including great blue heron, cranes, several species of ducks, hummingbirds and
occasionally a pair of Canadian Geese. White-tailed deer are abundant as well as foxes and armadillos.
Though shy, you can occasionally spot the black rock squirrel. Beginning in October, monarch
butterflies can be seen on their migratory journey south.
