Award-winning jazz vocalist/lyricist, Georgia Mancio, has proved herself one of the UK’s most original,
inventive and important new artists. She has worked with Bobby McFerrin, Sheila Jordan, Ian Shaw,
Liane Carroll, Jason Rebello, Gwilym Simcock, Alan Broadbent and Bobby Wellins; played several
residencies at Ronnie Scott's (opposite Monty Alexander, Jon Hendricks, Cedar Walton and Milton
Nascimento); produced 4 albums and runs her own international voice festival, ReVoice! in association
with The Pizza Express Jazz Club.
Georgia formed her band in 2005. Their music embraces her Anglo/Italian/Uruguayan background:
seamlessly performing in five languages and interpreting Fats Waller, Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Tom
Waits, David Bowie, Kenny Wheeler, The Beatles, Brazilian samba, Chilean folk and Italian pop
alongside their own beautifully crafted originals and arrangements. They have played Ronnie Scott’s,
Pizza Express, Wakefield, Chichester, Swansea, 606, Ipswich and Herts Jazz Clubs as well as
Manchester, Swanage, Wiltshire and London Jazz Festivals and more.
