2012 HACR young hispanic corporate achievers™
About the HACR Young
Hispanic Corporate Achievers™
Now in its sixth year, the HACR Young Hispanic Corporate
AchieversTM (HACR YHCA) Program was created to
recognize young executives in Corporate America who
have shown leadership qualities at their respective
companies along with a proven commitment to the
Hispanic community.
The annual program recognizes between 25-30 young
Hispanics at Fortune 500 and/or HACR corporate
member companies. Once selected, HACR YHCAers
participate in an intensive three-day leadership
development, education and training conference.
Being selected as an HACR YHCA means that these
executives have been recognized by their companies and
by national Hispanic community leaders who comprise
HACR’s Board of Directors.
HACR YHCAers are role models for other young Fortune
500 executives. Individually and collectively, they
are leading the way in establishing a new standard of
excellence in Corporate America.
For more than 25 years, HACR has recognized the
successes of companies that are committed to the
inclusion of Hispanics in the areas of employment,
procurement, philanthropy, and governance.
HACR understands that a company’s success will be
increasingly assisted by their own in-house Hispanic
talent. The HACR YHCA program is instrumental in
not only helping companies identify their high potential
leaders but equally as important in recognizing those
leaders at the national level.
As the Hispanic community continues to grow in
population, political clout, and economic buying power,
Corporate America is realizing that companies who
have cultural competence and utilize in-house Hispanic
decision-makers to develop products are having greater
success than companies who lack these skills and
understanding—it is the power of Hispanic inclusion.

We believe
in quality.
We’ve believed in it
ever since we opened our first restaurant.
And we believe
that even though the word’s gotten a little over-used by some,
it’s more important to our business today than ever before.
From the meals we serve,
to the jobs we create.
That’s why we offer people more than just jobs.
We offer them futures.
More than 50% of our owner/operators started off behind the counter.
So did more than 75% of our restaurant managers
and many of our corporate staff.
So while you might think
that people just pass through,
the truth is that, increasingly, people who come here,
stay here and grow.
Something we believe makes this not just a better place to work.
But a better place all around.
