National Cadet Pilot Programme
We are looking for young, ambitious UAE Nationals to join to become
pilots. You could be among the world’s best trained pilots and fly one of
the youngest and most modern fleets in the sky.
Training
Recruitment Process
The training duration is approximately four
years and is divided into three main phases:

• First phase (Foundation Programme):
takes place in Dubai at Emirates Training
College. Duration of this programme
will be 36-75 weeks and will include
foundation English (2 levels), foundation
aviation courses and personal
development. Trainees will be placed in
English, Aviation English and Aviation
Science courses, depending on the
trainee’s English language abilities.
• Second Phase (Flight Training
Programme): takes place outside the
UAE for 18 months. This phase will
provide approximately 220 hours of
flight experience to trainees, and give
them a course completion certificate,
Commercial Pilot Licence with Multi
Instrument Rating (CPL/multi IR), Frozen
Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL),
Jet orientation course and Multi Crew
Cooperation Course (JOC/MCC).
• Third Phase: takes place in Dubai for 9
months. This will provide online training.
Upon completion of this phase, trainees
are ready to fly large jet aircrafts across
our global network.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
License Programme
This 5 year programme is designed to offer high school graduates a Higher
Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance and the opportunity of obtaining an Aircraft
Maintenance Engineering Licence, with the goal of becoming an Aircraft
Maintenance Technician.

Programme
This unique programme integrates business and aviation management with the aim of
equipping high school graduates with a strong theoretical knowledge-base, combined
with practical experience. Upon successful completion of this programme, students
would have attained a Bachelors in Aviation Management, accredited by the Ministry
of Higher Education (MoHE). Students will also be well prepared for operational and
commercial roles in various areas within the Emirates Group.
Training
The training duration is approximately
5 years and involves:
• 4 years academic study at Emirates
Aviation University (EAU)
• 1 year on-the-job training

and sales initiatives for the continued success of your station. Training

Prepare for the Interview
• Be prepared to discuss your work experience and
educational background in detail
• Consider the questions you might be asked and give
examples of your past successes and achievements
• Recall previous experiences on how you handled
certain situations, and how you may handle those in
the role that you are being interviewed for
• During the interview, you are required to submit a
printed copy of your CV as well as copies of your
passport and educational degree
