Notes:
Finished Measurements:
7.5” from tips of ears to toes.
The toy is worked in continuous rounds; do
not join rounds unless it is noted otherwise.
Special Stitches:
sc2tog = Single crochet decrease. Place the
hook through the first sc, yarn over and draw
up a loop. Place the hook through the second
sc, yarn over and draw up another loop. Yarn
over again, and draw through all three loops
on the hook.
Place a stitch marker at the beginning of the
round, and move the marker up as each round
is completed.
Color change in sc: Place hook through the
last stitch, draw up yarn, drop the old color,
yarn over with new color, and draw through
the two loops on hook.
Stitch Abbreviations:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
Make color changes by switching to the new
color in the last yarn over of the last stitch in
the preceding round. Do not fasten off
colors until piece is finished. (See special
stitches.)
Tip!
Replace a traditional single crochet decrease
with an invisible decrease to give your toy a
cleaner look. To make an invisible decrease,
insert the hook in the front loops of the next
two sc. Yarn over and draw up a loop through
the two loops. Yarn over again and draw
through the two loops on hook.
sc2tog = single crochet two together (single
crochet decrease)
sl st = slip stitch
