Field Trips
Definition
The Kids Club Sports Skills component
consists of eight core sports that will be
taught over 4-week periods. Physical
activity is the most obvious benefit of
sports participation. Being involved in
sports also builds self-esteem and
confidence, motivates children to excel
academically and helps build social skills.
Definition
Visual arts are an essential part of a
child’s education. Exposure to art gives
children a unique means of expression,
capturing their passions and emotions,
and allows them to explore new ideas,
subject matter, and cultures. Kids Club
helps kids to see and feel life in full
color.
Even with all 5 components,
children still love to get away.
Field trips will be part of the Kids
Club equation for fun!
Outcomes
Each participant will be taught the basic
skills and fundamentals required to play
each sport. They will be measured and
tested on their knowledge of each sport
through various competitive games and
contests.
Outcomes
Children will learn to paint, draw and
create projects with recycled and
environmental materials. Children will
bring home projects monthly.
