Happy New Year!
It is that time of the year when
we have an opportunity to look
back at 2014 and review our
accomplishments, challenges,
our platform for growth and our
2015 expectations. As I write
this article, I am reminded of the
incredible transformation our Club
is experiencing with a true sense
of satisfaction we all share.
An amazing amount has been
accomplished in a short period
of time. Our plan to improve our
asset base began approximately
18 months ago. Today, almost
all of the projects have been or
are nearly completed. By any

measure, 2014 was an incredible
year!
The Creek Course renovation
was completed a year ago. This
was followed by the renovation
of the Greenside Grille and Bar
and the addition of two Bocce
Courts. This summer, we updated
the Cypress Room and Lounge
with refurbished stools and chairs,
new fixtures, wallpaper and a
fresh coat of paint to create a
very attractive update to our Club
dining experience. Most recently,
we completed the renovation on
the Quail Course, which began
last spring. The Course opened
in November to rave reviews.
Recently, we broke ground on
Phase One of our Fitness Center
and Spa project, which encompasses our Sports Lounge, an
expanded exercise class room,
restrooms and offices.
Our Capital improvement projects did not distract us from our
attention to our Members. The
Club hosted a number of great
events, from our End of Season
From the

Happy New Year to all Quail
Creek Country Club (QCCC)
Members and their families from
your Golf Course Maintenance
staff. We look forward to see-

ing everyone out enjoying the
newly renovated Quail and Creek
Courses this winter golf season.
We have had an eventful summer and we all hope everyone
is proud of the Quail Course
renovation. I would like to commend Members and guests on
Party complete with dancing on
the 18th Green, to the Welcome
Back (Around the World) event, to
Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners with over 500 served, to our
now famous Burger Chef & Jeff
with more than 300 in attendance.
Thanks to all of you, your
contributions to the employee
holiday fund resulted in a significant improvement (+20%)
over past years. Distributed to
our 157 Club employees by a
formula based solely on tenure,
this well-deserved bonus is much
appreciated by our staff. And,
your generosity didn't end here.
The Giving Tree in the Tennis
Pro Shop was decorated with 51
tags that represented the number
of children in our employee
family. All tags were taken and
returned with gifts, providing yet
another special thank you from
our membership.
This year, we are particularly
thankful to our Club Staff and the
many Members who helped us
achieve our ambitions through
Committees and our Board. This is
a very special time at Quail Creek,
which we have tried to capture
in our marketing tag line “Quail
Creek Country Club: Everything
a country club should be.” After
our successes this year, maybe we
should add, “2015—Rediscover
Quail Creek Country Club.”
Bob
this year’s Pride Program. The
results have been well received
and, considering the amount of
play we had, the Creek Course
has held up very well. As we play
the new Quail Course, please
keep in mind its age and maintain
the “Pride” we all have for QCCC.
Keeping the golf courses in great
playing shape starts with all of
us. Carts on the path as much
as possible, repairing divots and
repairing ball marks is part of everyone’s daily golfing experience.
Get out and enjoy yourselves
and play some great golf.
With Pride,
Kevin
Dear Members,
At this time each year, we
assess our membership counts.
During the summer months, there
is always a gradual reduction in
both Golf and Social memberships. In the fall, membership
recruitment improves. With the
completion of the Quail Course,
the Greenside Grille, Bocce
Courts and the ground-breaking
of Phase One of the Fitness
Center and Spa, there is renewed
vigor and optimism around our
beautiful Club.
Our best source of new
Members is you. With the internet, marketing the Club has
definitely changed, but there
continues to be no substitute for
Member-to-Member recruitment.
The truth is, when we get people
to come out to visit the Club and
meet our Members and staff,
they understand what we have
to offer. When that happens, we
do well in bringing them into our
Quail Creek Country Club family.
By now, you will have noticed

We start the new year with
inspiration and a great attitude. Why? Because we choose
to. We’ve got two great golf
courses, both less than one year
old, and they will continue to
improve with each sunny day.
We have many new Members
and hundreds of the best and
most faithful Members that a
private club could have. Please
focus on the positives and
let’s be mindful that we are so
blessed to play golf and enjoy
the Quail Creek Country Club
lifestyle.
New Fun-4-Play Cart
The Club owns a new Fun4-Play golf cart designed for
four people to play golf and
enjoy increased exercise and
camaraderie. The cart has seating for four and room for four
golf bags. The foursome can
choose to all ride and talk and
socialize OR two or three players
can walk down the fairways just
like the tour pros, without the
encumbered golf bag or pull
cart. Give this new cart a try
and get $10 off the cart fee per
person. Call ahead to reserve the
Fun-4-Play cart.
Nine & Dine Golf
Let’s get the Nine & Dine golf
events for 2015 to grow into big
monthly get-togethers. The first

event is scheduled for Thursday,
January 8, and is nine holes of
mixed team, scramble golf with
the Carvery dinner ($28.95) following golf. Guests are welcome
or you can play with other
Members. The entry fee is only
$5. For this first event we have
two special events before and
after. (You can participate in any
portion of these three events
separately if you wish.)
1) The annual Golf Pro
Exhibition on the Golf Range
at 2:00 pm. Come out and see
the staff pros as they give out
golf tips and pearls of wisdom.
Seating will be available. FREE
2) Signature Golf, a specialist
in the Birthplace of Golf Travel,
will give our Members a free
cocktail and present two golf
vacation itineraries to Scotland
and Ireland. This will take place
at about 6:30 pm during dinner.
Men's Nine-Hole League
Let’s get the Nine Hole
Executive Men's League growing. We play Mondays at 2:30
pm and Thursdays at 10:30 am.
Even if you play 18 holes on
other days, come out and meet
the guys, play a relaxed nine
and have lunch or a cocktail
afterward. If you are really
ambitious, we are looking for
a Member to spearhead this
league and help us grow it
into another Club Association.
Monday, January 5 is the big
opening day. Davis Cook and I
will play with the group and add
a little lighthearted atmosphere
to the day’s play. Call the Golf
Pro Shop (597-2900) to sign up.
WGA 18 Hole News
Our Holiday Charity Classic event was a huge success, thanks to
the hard work of Diane Van Bell and Vivian Rogers. The WGA raised
$12,228 to benefit PAWS, a non-profit organization that trains and
places assistance dogs with combat-wounded veterans and children
with disabilities.
There is still time to sign up for the January 14 Member/Guest,
“Let’s Play A Round,” with a 12:45 pm shotgun, chaired by Nancy
Mattis. Remember, one guest per member. The Member/Member,
“Kolor Kaleidoscope,” will be January 20 & 21 with 12:45 pm shotguns
both days. Pat McKay is chairing this event.
In February, we will have our traditional Presidents Cup on
February 4, chaired by Ruth Naton and Jytte Kirkby. The two-day
Women’s Invitational on February 10 & 11 will be co-chaired by
Sheila Melton and Jorie Senter. This event is limited to 120 players.
Color Wars, on February 25, will be an 8:30 am shotgun and is
limited to 72 players. Connie Good and Rita Quibell will be the team
captains. Sign-up begins January 27.
Looking ahead: the Spring Charity is March 4; the Women’s Club
Championship is March 12, 14 and 15; the Queen’s Classic is March
17 and 18; and the Member/Guest is March 25.
Happy 2015!
Lady Niners News
In addition to regular play on Mondays, the Niners will have two
Twilites: “Tropical Splendor,” January 22, hosted by Ginny Zalucki;
and “Chinese New Year Festival,” February 15, hosted by Susan Moros
and Sally Pendleton. These are fun events which include spouses,
significant others, or other Members of the Club and are always
followed by a delicious dinner in the Quail Room. Be sure to join in!
Every other year, the Niners host an Invitational, which includes
teams from other Collier County clubs with nine-hole associations.
On February 9, the Niners will hold their Invitational, “Masquerade.”
The event is being organized by Lisa Paulus and will include lunch
and a raffle. If you would like to volunteer for this great event, please
contact Lisa ([email protected]).
On February 23 and 26, the Niners Divas Classic will be hosted by
Elaine Christian and Mimi White. All event sign-up dates are listed
in the Lady Niners Handbook, so be sure to sign up for all of these
enjoyable events.
On January 12, all open positions on the Lady Niners Board will
be posted. Please let Karen Whitney ([email protected])
know if you have interest in any open position. The proposed slate
will be posted in February, and the Lady Niners membership will
vote on the slate in March.

As your new Membership and
Marketing Director, I look forward
to working with you. Quail Creek
Country Club (QCCC) is an amazing place with even more amazing
Members. This is only one of the
reasons that I am so pleased to
step into my new role. And, we
have an exciting story to tell.
Now that the renovations of our
Golf Courses and Clubhouse are
complete and the Fitness Center
renovation is well on its way, we
plan to communicate a message
of renewal. While Quail Creek has
a long-standing history in Naples,
thanks to our renovation, the Club
is virtually brand new. We will
deliver this message locally via
print advertising, direct mail to
specific communities, and email
to particular groups of interest in
Naples, such as attorneys, doctors
and CEOs. I hope that you too will
share the news of our renewal
with your friends, neighbors and
acquaintances.
I am pleased to announce
that Jenni Caves is taking on my
former job as Webmaster and
Digital Marketing Specialist. I have
worked with Jenni before and
know you will find her friendly
and knowledgeable. While she
will continue to develop our
Website and Facebook presence,
she will also assist me in improving our internet communications
through online advertising and
social media. The QCCC Website
is already a great tool for sharing
information about our Club. We’ll
turn it into an even better tool
for capturing leads by adding
enhanced content and promotions
that give potential members more
options to provide their contact
information.
We are focused on continuing
to generate traffic coming through
the Club so that I can introduce
prospects to our wonderful amenities and our most important
feature…YOU! With great golf,
dining, tennis, fitness and spa
PLUS the friendliest Members in
Naples, this Club can’t be beat!
I also recognize that Member
satisfaction is a key component to
the success of any Club. My door
is always open. If I can help you
find activities, be it a golf group or
a tennis game, please stop by my
office or give me a call. A number
of you have stopped to offer your
congratulations. Thank you. Your
support makes all the difference.

Relay For Life
Quail Creek’s Relay for Life

the American Cancer Society. Did
you know that since 2001, the
Quail Creek Relay For Life Team
has raised over $780,000 for the
American Cancer Society? Please
help us exceed our goal for 2015.
Pain Management Services,
Ultrasound and MPS
Ultrasound and MPS Therapy
are modalities used to reduce
pain, muscle spasms, and facilitate
the healing process in sub-acute
or chronic conditions. Ultrasound
works from the inside out, bringing deep heat into the tissue.
This increases circulation to bring
healing to the area. MPS helps to
restore altered nerve function,
significantly accelerating tissue
repair, and breaking the chronic
pain cycle. Half-hour sessions
are available with Renee.
Skin Care Products and
Workshops
Please check the weekly
e-Minder for our informational
Skin Care Workshops that Quail
Creek’s Facial Specialists, Edwina
and Laura, will be hosting
monthly. You can experience
the products, ask questions,
and learn the best ways to keep
your skin healthy. Call the office
(593-9378) for dates of upcoming workshops.
Evening Hours Available
Evening and weekend
hours for Massages, Skin Care
and Personal Training sessions
are available by appointment.
