two angels appeared,

Answered Prayer

In Matthew 15,
Jesus praised a Gentile
woman for having
great faith. What can
we learn from her?
1) She was bold.
eleste, Alex, José, Wendy, Ruben, Carla, Deepak
and Nie Min may live in different parts of the
world, but they all shared the same pain. Their
misery was caused by life-threatening intestinal
parasites that robbed their bodies of vital nutrition,
leaving them weak and in debilitating pain.
The woman cried
out, Have mercy on me,
O Lord, Son of David! For my daughter
has a demon in her, and it is severely
tormenting her (Matthew 15:22).
Hebrews 4:16 says, So let us come
boldly to the throne of our gracious God.
Our heavenly Father has the solution to
every problem!

22 million children in China, India, Indonesia, Cambodia, the
Philippines, Laos, Nigeria, Niger, Guatemala, Peru and Mexico.

You bring healing in Jesus’ name to children around the
world. This year, OB is planning to distribute 26 million doses
of anti-parasite medication in Latin America and Africa.
In November, the mission continues, treating millions
of children in Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras,
Nicaragua, Guatemala and Peru.

those same children will receive
a second dose of medication. A
similar strategy is planned for
Africa’s Ivory Coast.
In each country, OB is
working with the government
and local churches to distribute
the medication and provide
basic hygiene training to combat
future infestation.

Although Jesus didn’t answer her
immediately, this mother continued to
urgently beg for help. Even when the
disciples got annoyed with her, she did
not stop.
If you feel that God isn’t answering
your prayers, don’t be discouraged. He
tells us, Keep on asking, and you will be
given what you ask for (Matthew 7:7).
3) She was humble.
When Jesus questioned her, she still
did not give up.
She knelt and pleaded, Lord, help me!
… Even dogs are permitted to eat crumbs
that fall beneath their master’s table
(Matthew 15:25,27).
Don’t let anything block your trust
in God’s mighty power. He will answer
your prayers – if you ask boldly,
relentlessly and humbly.
That’s why Jesus said to the woman,
Your faith is great (v. 28). And her
daughter was healed!
When you have a need, take hold
of God and keep praying until your
prayers are answered – for He is faithful.

Alberta joined the Confederation in 1905 and is
considered the Bible belt of Canada. It currently has
about 3.6 million residents. It is a rich province, but it
is yearning for transformation and revival.
British Columbia has such beauty and natural resources, but I believe
the Father desires it to be dazzling in the spiritual realm as well. Since
it’s inclusion as part of the Dominion of Canada in 1871, British
Columbia has grown to 4.4 million residents. I believe this is the time
for revival.
As I think of these provinces, I am reminded of the Rockies and how
their majesty and strength speak of God and His creation. The Bible
says that if we don’t praise Him, the rocks will. No matter how beautiful
the mountains are, I don’t want them taking my place – Praise the Lord!

Fruit

Wisdom:
Winning
the
Lost

harles Finney, the great 19th
century American revivalist,
wrote a book called Revivals
of Religion. His guiding
Scripture, which I have adopted as
my own, is about wisdom: Proverbs
11:30, He who wins souls is wise.
Finney said that it is not what you
think or how you act that leads to
wisdom – but it’s what you do as
your life’s mission. And if you are
about winning souls, then you are
truly wise.
When we receive the gift of
salvation, we get our marching
orders: to lay down our lives on a
daily basis to do the will of Him who
saved us. We join with our Saviour in
His Gethsemane prayer: Not My will,

but Yours, be done (Luke 22:42).
Proverbs 16:3 says, Commit your
works to the Lord, and your thoughts
will be established. If winning souls
is truly your motivation, then
everything else falls into line. God
is going to establish your heart
with righteousness and give you
His anointing for success.
Matthew 24:14 states our sole
purpose at CBN: And this Gospel
of the kingdom will be preached in
all the world as a witness to all the
nations. And that’s what we have
been working on for nearly 50 years.
I am encouraged to have you and
so many other partners marching
beside us in this awesome mission.
Each day, we are witnessing the fruits
of our labours – precious souls
entering His kingdom.
How does God respond to those
who act wisely, according to His will?
In Daniel 12:3, the Lord promises us
a reward beyond our comprehension:
Those who are wise shall shine like the
brightness of the firmament, and those
who turn many to righteousness like
the stars forever and ever. I pray that
God will continue to bless our efforts
as we commit our work to His glory.
