Dear Event Planner,
Thank you for considering Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club as the host facility for your
golf event. Our business is creating an entertaining event that elevates your business in the eyes
of your staff, suppliers or special customers.
Located within easy driving distance from locations throughout the Lower Mainland, and nestled
on the edge of Eagle Mountain in Coquitlam, BC, Westwood Plateau provides breathtaking
views and memorable moments for golfers of all skill levels.
Our goal at Westwood Plateau is really quite simple! Provide an excellent product with “Above
& Beyond” service in an unbelievable setting – to ensure that your guests will remember your
event above all others.
For 2010, Westwood Plateau is proud to offer many new features to our Golf Tournament
package including a wide variety of delicious menus designed by our Executive Chef Brendan
Ng, and a collection of options available for you to create an exciting and memorable event. In
following our effort to create an Above & Beyond tournament experience for our clients we have
continued to offer the Plateau Players Experience tee gift feature in our tournament packages.
Your guests will receive an attractive gift box containing a Signature Series Westwood Plateau
Tee Gift, and more than $750 worth of value and offers at many of our facilities at Westwood
Plateau. Please see page 5 for full details.
The attached Tournament Booking package is designed to enable you to plan a successful event
at one of Canada's premier daily fee / tournament golf facilities. We are proud to continue our
alliances with our 4 Hole In One partners and these fantastic features are sure to improve your
next golf tournament.

Booking Options
Shotgun: A shotgun start refers to a method in which every golfer begins at the same time but on different holes.
This is a great format for groups of 144 players or more that require exclusive access to the course because it
allows every player to complete their game at the same time, allowing a smooth transition from the golf portion
of your day to the evening’s festivities.
Modified Shotgun: A modified shotgun is a starting method that is not offered by many facilities but is of great
advantage to groups who are looking for the benefits of a shotgun start without the required number of guests
to do so. Whenever possible,Westwood Plateau will offer a modified shotgun to groups of 56 to 140 players. All
modified shotguns start at 1:30pm unless otherwise stated by the Golf Operations Manager.
Tee Time Groups: Tee time groups start their game of golf under the traditional consecutive tee time
format running on ten-minute intervals and is a perfect format for groups of 24 to 56 players.
