NOMURA Wins
Asia Pacific Interior Design Award for Third Year in a Row
NOMURA has received the Excellence Award in the Public Space category of the
Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards 2015 (APIDA), the 23rd edition of the design
competition organized by the Hong Kong Interior Design Association (HKIDA). The
award was received for the YASKAWA Innovation Center, with spatial design by
NOMURA’s Hirotaka Tamura and creative engineering direction by Kenji Ogino.
The award ceremony was held on November 23 at the Hong Kong Convention and
Exhibition Centre this year, attended by about 300 designers, media and industry
leaders. This year’s competition received more than 600 entries from the Asia Pacific
region. One Gold, one Silver, one Bronze, two Excellence, and five BEST 10 awards
YASKAWA Innovation Center
were presented in each of 10 categories.
Following the W Guangzhou FEI and PALACE HOTEL TOKYO Wadakura in 2013 and the
TOYOTA Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology and other three
projects in 2014, this is the third time that NOMURA wins APIDA for third year in a row.
