A Very Warm Welcome to you all
Thank you to everyone who helped to make 2015 so successful, one of our best years yet, so we would like to
introduce you to our 2016 brochure. There are new ones like the Dordogne and holidays that have remained firm
favourites such as the Orkneys.
As most of you know we are a small family company that offer holidays of good value and hotels of excellent
quality. We have always endeavoured to maintain a high standard from our free door to door service, excellent
drivers and tour managers (trained to the highest standards) to our fleet of coaches, known throughout the area
as second to none.
For the 2016 season we are proud to be able to offer our brand new touring coach, fitted out to the highest
specification with ‘theatre style’ seating which will come into service on the 1st of March.
Finally to our regular customers we would like to thank you for your continued support and for people travelling for
the first time with us, a very warm welcome.

March each year and it’s on this day that

Staying at the 4* Van Der Valk Hotel in Leusden
A spectacular and diverse visit to the Netherlands staying at the superb 4* Van Der Valk family run hotel at
Leusden. Our outward journey will be via York to the port of Hull for our overnight crossing to Rotterdam (in
low berths) and entertainment on board ship. On arrival in Holland we will then drive to Amsterdam where an
optional canal sail will be offered. The rest of the day is free to do as you please. Maybe visit Anne Frank’s
house or the Red Light District before driving to our Hotel at Leusden for dinner and a stay of two nights.
During our stay we will be touring the Bulbfields with an included visit to Keukenhof park (The celebration

Our journey begins travelling North into Scotland by passing
Perth and Inverness to Strathpeffer for dinner and overnight
stay at the Ben Wyvis Hotel. The following day we leave after
breakfast and travel on the North East coastal route to Gills
Bay for our crossing to St Margaret’s on mainland Orkney. On
route to our Hotel at Kirkwall we cross the Churchill barriers
visiting the Italian Chapel before arriving at the Ayre Hotel for
dinner and a stay of three nights.
During our stay in Kirkwall we have free time to explore the
town and included visits to the Ring of Brogar, Skarabrae, and
Skaill House, one of the most ancient site’s in Britain. On day 5
we leave our Hotel and travel to Stromness for the morning
crossing to Scrabster on the mainland. From here we drive
along the top of Scotland via Tongue, Durness and Laxford
Bridge to Ullapool to the Royal Hotel for dinner and a stay of
two nights. While here we have a free day. On our final day we

The superbly situated 3* Empress Hotel on the seafront at Douglas is our base
for this holiday. We tour the whole of the island including a full drive of the
famous ‘TT’ course via Ramsay, Port Erin and St. John’s, the location of the
ancient Tynwald or island’s Government.
Our crossings to the island are to and from Heysham.
Douglas is the capital and largest town of the Isle of Man. In 1869 the island’s
government, the Tynwald, relocated to Douglas from Castletown. The annual ‘TT’
course starts and finishes here. The
course itself is nearly 38 miles long
including the mountain road, where the

The Warner Brothers Studio Tour, London provides an amazing opportunity to
explore the magic of the Harry Potter films, the most successful film series of all
time. This unique walking tour takes you behind the scenes, and showcases a
huge array of wonderful sets, costumes and props. It also reveals some closely
guarded secrets including facts about the special effects and animatronics,

The Dordogne Valley which is part of the Perigord region is one of the most beautiful parts
of France, well known for its history and breath taking views. This is a new Tour that we
have compiled to bring together the charm of unspoilt countryside, Chateaus gardens and
also ancient historical villages.
A special tour that takes us on a boat cruise on the Dordogne and a visit to Roque-St Christophe, with a site
that has experienced pre-historic life thousands of years ago. Our main stay for this holiday is in the village
of Le-Bugue at the Hotel Royal Vezere which overlooks the river in the centre of the village. The Hotel has a
bar and restaurant with a riverside terrace and a rooftop outdoor swimming pool and terrace with great

MONDAY – DAY 3 Today we first of all drive to Perigueux which is the capital of the region. This beautiful
town offers superb architecture, pavement Cafes and restaurants. A gastronomic centre which has a total of
39 historic monuments. We include an introductory walking guided tour which lasts about 1 hour, then in the
afternoon we drive to the Roque St Christophe, an amazing place of beauty and history of pre historic life
many thousands of years ago. We include entrance to this, then afterwards return to our Hotel for dinner.

TUESDAY – DAY 4 Today there is normally a morning market in Le-Bugue, so a free morning to relax and do
as you please. Explore the narrow winding streets and the beautiful traditional houses before a short leisurely
drive to either Beynac-et-Cazenac or Roque-Gageac for an included boat sail on the Dordogne River.

WEDNESDAY – DAY 5 A full tour today which starts with a visit to Sarlat-La-Caneda a beautifully
preserved historic town, one of the most famous for medieval art and history in France. It claims to have
the highest number of listed buildings per square metre in Europe. We then continue to Rocamadour a
setting rich in tradition where pilgrims have been visiting this medieval city for centuries. Defying gravity,
Rocamadour is built into a cliff side whose rocks protect the sacred shrines and monastery.
THURSDAY – DAY 6 No holiday would be complete in this region without viewing its vineyards, so today
we travel west along the Dordogne Valley to Bergerac where the old town slopes down to the river.
Here we can see the covered market, Notre Dame Church, the Statue of Cyrano-De-Bergerac and the old
bridges and quays. We also include a prestige guided tour of Chateau De Monbazillac learning of the local
history during a tour of the Chateau, we then include a wine tasting normally of 3 selected wines before
returning to our hotel.
FRIDAY – DAY 7 Sadly after breakfast at our Hotel we have to leave the Dordogne and drive North through
France to our Hotel on the outskirts of Paris.
SATURDAY – DAY 8 Our final day sees us driving North to Calais for our crossing back to England then
onward to our home areas arriving mid evening.

Our first day takes us North by passing Stirling, Callander, over Rannock Moor to the
romantic Isle of Skye which is our destination for the first part of this holiday. It is the
largest of the Inner Hebrides with a magnificent coastline, Cuillin Mountains and
abundant wildlife. Our hotel is The King’s Arms, a traditional hotel with spectacular views
of the Skye Bridge, overlooking Loch Alsh and the Inner Sound situated at the village of
Kyleakin. From here we can also see across to the mainland and close by the ruins of
Castle Moil and Bright Water Otter Sanctuary.
During our stay we have a full day tour of the island visiting Portree then via Duntulm and Uig. We also have
a tour to Dunvegan with an option to visit the Castle and Gardens. There will also be a free day or optional
tour to the pretty village of Plockton.

The second part of our holiday takes us to Armadale for our sail to Mallaig on the mainland. Here there will
be time to visit this quaint fishing port before continuing our journey over ‘The Road to The Isles’ via Fort

North Pier with views across to Kerrara Island and beyond to the Isle of Mull. Once again a free day to do
as you choose maybe visit the museum, distillery or McCaigs Tower or take the ferry for a day visit to Mull.
On our final day we leave our hotel and drive past Loch Awe to Inverary then the shores of Loch Long,
through Arrochar to Loch Lomond. Our journey then takes us South, crossing the border back into England

BooKING CoNDITIoNS
1/ Booking Confirmation
A deposit of £40.00 UK or £60.00 overseas per person
(WHICH IS NON REFUNDABLE) secures your hotel room & seat
allocation. A confirmation invoice will be forwarded to you and a
contract will then exist between us.
2/ Balance of Payment
The balance of the holiday must be paid not later than 6 weeks before
the holiday departure date. If you book within this 6 week period you
must pay the full holiday cost at the time of booking. If the balance is
not paid in time we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain
your deposit.
3/ Cancellation By You
Exclusive Door-to-Door Coach Touring
You may cancel your holiday at any time providing the cancellation is
made in writing. Such cancellations will incur the charges shown
below, although you may be able to reclaim these charges if the
reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of your holiday
insurance. It is always advisable to insure your holiday.
A) Holiday cancellation charge made to you
Prior to 56 days before departure date – deposit only
H) The company takes no responsibility for passengers’ goods or
possessions left onboard the coach. It is up to the individual to
ensure their goods are safe & secure. Valuables should be carried
by the passengers at all times or deposited in a hotel security box
and a receipt obtained.

4/ Cancellation By Us
In certain circumstances we may have to cancel your holiday. Should
this occur we will normally not give you less than 21 days notice and
will of course offer you a prompt & full refund of all monies paid to us
(there will be no further compensation payable).

5/ Liability
A) We cannot accept liability for holidays affected by: War or threat of
war, civil strife, Industrial action, natural disaster, weather,
governmental action or other similar events beyond our control,
and therefore reserve the right to alter any tour or excursion due
to unforeseen circumstances.
B) All hotels are chosen by us with great care but as they are neither
owned by us or under our direct control we are unable to accept
responsibility for the actions or omissions of their personnel.
C) It is your responsibility to make sure that you are at the correct
departure point at the correct time and we cannot be liable for any
loss or expense incurred if you are not.
D) The coaches we operate are designed for long distance touring,
equipped with reclining seats etc:, however we reserve the right to
alter this type of vehicle should the need occur due to unforeseen
circumstances.
E) Passengers must not smoke while onboard our vehicles.
F) Luggage labels & final pick up times will be issued approx 7 days
before departure along with your balance payment receipt.

G) This brochure was produced October 2015 and we have offered
the best value for money rate possible. Although it is not our policy
to have surcharges (increases of taxes on fuel, currency exchange,
the VAT rate, or introduction of VAT on present zero rated items) will
be taken into account and unfortunately passed on to our clients
irrespective of the clients date of booking. Should an increase be
necessary we will issue our agents with a revised price list or a
copy will be available at our office.
