• Visitors: Sponsor must come to the gate and
sponsor their visitor on.
• Commercial Deliveries/Services (i.e. Fed Ex,

no need for the individual to come to the gate,

Body composition is divided into two separate types of mass:
Fat-free mass- which is comprised of all of the body’s non-fat
tissues and body fat. Fat-free mass includes bone, water, muscle
and tissues. Body fat is literally fat located within the body.
Some fat is necessary for overall health; it helps protect internal
organs, provides energy and regulates hormones that perform
various functions in the body. Please come in and get your initial
assessment before you begin your fitness and dietary program
for the year.

Trek Across America & California
Trek Across America & California are self paced programs that allow individuals
to be rewarded when the goal is achieved. The program is based on the honor
system and is a year round program. There are worksheets located in a folder
by the front desk at the El Segundo and Fort MacArthur Fitness Centers to keep
track of your mileage. Prizes are given when you reach highlighted landmarks
along the map. If you participate in the Trek across California, you can transfer
your mileage to the USA Trek but prizes will start from Amarillo, Texas. Modes of
travel can be achieved through the following exercises:

and Port of Los Angeles High School. Upon
return, registered youth may enjoy our
Open Recreation Program, or go directly
home. $50 per week
*Note: Participation in the transportation program
does not automatically register youth for after school
activities. Youth must be enrolled in Open Recreation

4-H BGCA Fine Arts Program (Ages 9-18)
Wednesdays, January 13, 20 & 27, 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
This program encourages artistic expression among club members
through drawing, painting, collage, mixed media and sculpture.
Youth create one of a kind art creations and are encouraged to work
toward entering their work into the BGCA and Air Force Fine Arts
competitions and exhibits.

The Home School Club offers families who choose to educate
at home an opportunity to interact with other youth in similar
programs. Home School Club provides a variety of activities
that may include art, sports, and cooking. Each week is a new
adventure.

Wilson’s Tae Kwon Do Academy (Ages 6-18)

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean Martial Art, which focuses on hand and
foot techniques that neutralize attacks and provide a means of
protecting both yourself and your loved ones. The practice and
employment of these techniques is governed by the Five Tenets:

Make extra income while caring for
children in the comfort of your own
home. Family Child Care (FCC) staff will
train and help you provide responsible and
safe in-home care for children 2 weeks to 13
years old in your government or affiliated
off-base home.
We’ll make sure you have the skills, promotion
and resources you need.
We’re also looking for providers for special
needs, weekend & extended hours child care.

Individuals taking care of someone else’s
children in base quarters on a regular basis for
more than 10 hours per week must be licensed.
Residents of base housing who knowingly
provide unlicensed child care are in danger of
losing their base housing privileges. The care
in FCC is provided in the home of individuals
licensed under AFI 34-276 guidelines.
These licensed child care providers must
complete (at a minimum) 24 hours of
orientation, be certified in CPR/First Aid,
complete AF child care training modules,
obtain liability insurance and have their
home meet fire prevention, health and safety
guidelines. Please contact the FCC office for
