This Handbook is for the
Carryall 1500 & XRT 1550 with Intellitach WARNING

Never use the vehicle without instructions. Read vehicle signs
(decals), Owner's Manual and this Handbook.
Always fasten safety belt before operating or riding in the vehicle.
Keep arms and feet inside the vehicle.
Never use vehicle without Roll-over Protective Structure (ROPS).
Do not modify or remove ROPS.
Replace ROPS if damaged.
Keep away from drop-offs, steep slopes and unstable surfaces.
Slow down when turning. Do not make sharp turns. Look in the direction
of travel.
Secure load in cargo bed.
Do not exceed Vehicle Rated Capacities.
Before leaving the operator seat:
Park on flat level ground.
Lower attachment arm.
Put attachment flat on ground.
Put the Forward/Reverse Handle in " NEUTRAL" .
Stop the engine, remove the key and engage the parking brake.

Carry one rider only in the passenger seat.
Keep bystanders away from the work area.
No riders in cargo bed.

Never modify the vehicle or add attachments not approved.

Joystick activation switch.
Raise attachment arm.
Lower attachment arm.
Tilt attachment backward.
Tilt attachment forward.
Float position:
- Press and hold switch (Item 6) and
push joystick forward to activate
float (switch will be illuminated).
- Tilt the attachment forward (Item 5)
- Attachment will follow ground
as vehicle moves backward.
- Move joystick backward to
deactivate float.
7. Push switch (Item 7) to the left to
rotate attachment to the left.
8. Push switch (Item 8) to the right to
rotate attachment to the right.

WARNING
Use the ROPS structure which is a Rollover Protective Structure designed for
the Utility Vehicle. ROPS structure modifications not approved can cause
loss of operator protection and result in serious injury or death. Always
fasten safety belt when operating.

Check safety belts and replace if damaged.
Check ROPS structure and fasteners.
Check the park brake.
Repair broken or loose parts.
Clean engine of flammable material.
Clean pedal and operator's area.
Check engine oil level.
Check the hydraulic fluid level and brake fluid level.
Check the tire condition and tire pressure.
Check the service brakes.

Be sure load (if any) is secured.
Adjust the seat so controls are
easy to reach.
3. Connect the seat belt. Adjust so
that the belt fits snug around the
lower part of your hips and over
the shoulder. Passenger must
also fasten safety belt.
4. Put Forward/Reverse Handle in
the NEUTRAL position. (Engine
will not start unless in NEUTRAL.)
5. Press and hold brake pedal.
NOTE: In cold temperatures, let the
engine run for at least 5 minutes to
warm the hydraulic fluid before
operating the vehicle.

Turn the key to glow plug position
and hold for 10-15 seconds, turn
key to START position. Release
key when engine starts and it will
go to ON position.
Release park brake.
Move the Forward/Reverse Handle
to desired direction of travel.
Release brake pedal and slowly
press the accelerator pedal until
the desired speed is obtained.
WARNING
Hitting obstructions at high speeds
can cause serious injury or death.
Always fasten safety belt when
operating.

PUTTING ON THE ATTACHMENT USING THE INTELLITACH
WARNING
Attachment interface pins must extend
through the holes in the attachment with
lever in locked position. Failure to secure
pins can allow the attachment to come
off and cause serious injury or death.

Engage the attachment interface into
the attachment. Tilt the attachment
backward slightly.

Move the attachment interface lever
fully to the right and into the locked
position. Check to be sure lever is fully
engaged. The attachment interface
pins (Item 1) must extend through the
holes in the attachment.

AUXILIARY HYDRAULIC CONTROL (IF EQUIPPED)
Relieving Hydraulic Pressure:
Auxiliary Operation:
With engine stopped (key switch OFF)
and attachment flat on ground, move
auxiliary hydraulic switch (Item 2) to
the right and left several times.
Push auxiliary hydraulic switch (Item
2) to the right to rotate attachment to
the right. Push switch (Item 2) to the
left to rotate attachment to the left.

Do Not exceed maximum Cargo Bed Rated Load Capacity.
Do Not drive vehicle with Cargo Bed raised.
Make sure loads in Cargo Bed are secured.
Slow down when turning. Do Not make sharp turns.
RAISING AND LOWERING THE CARGO BED FOR SERVICE ACCESS:
Bed Latch And Prop Rod;
1. Empty cargo bed.
2. Pull bed latch handle (Item 1) to the
rear. Manually raise the cargo bed
to the desired height. The prop rod
(Item 2) will engage to keep bed
raised.

3. To lower cargo bed: Slightly raise
bed, push the prop rod (Item 2)
toward the front of the vehicle and
gently lower the cargo bed.

Electric Bed Lift (If Equipped);
1. Empty cargo bed.
2. Pull up and hold the electric bed lift
switch (Item 1) in the raise
position. Hold the switch in the
raised position until the cargo bed
reaches the desired height.
3. To lower cargo bed: Move switch
(Item 1) to the lower position. Hold
the switch in the lower position
until the cargo bed is fully lowered.

When both are empty OR when both are loaded, the front and rear of the vehicle
are close to the same weight. You can either move forward OR backward up and
down slopes.

LOADING AND TRANSPORTING THE VEHICLE
When loading a vehicle with an attachment, drive forward onto transport vehicle.
Lower attachment to floor. Stop engine. Put Forward/Reverse Handle in
NEUTRAL. Engage parking brake. Securely fasten vehicle to trailer or truck. Be
sure transport and towing vehicles are of adequate size and capacity.

Stop and cool the engine before adding fuel. NO SMOKING!
Keep the engine area clean of flammable material and other debris.
Do not wear loose clothing, long uncovered hair or jewelry near vehicle.
Wear eye protection when servicing, and hard hat or other protective
equipment as needed.
When connecting the booster battery for jump start, always connect the
negative cable last to the engine, never at the battery. When removing the
jump start cables, always remove the negative cable (-) from engine first.
Never charge or jump start a frozen battery.
Lead-acid batteries produce flammable and explosive gases. Keep arcs,
sparks, flames and lighted tobacco away from battery.
Battery acid causes severe burns. In case of acid contact, wash immediately
with water for several minutes and get medical attention in case of eye
contact.
Use a piece of cardboard to check for leaks. Leaking fluids under pressure
can enter the skin and cause serious injury. If fluid enters skin or eyes, get
immediate medical attention from a physician familiar with this injury.
