TO THE LOUIS 57 FOUNDATION CHARITY CHALLENGE 2015.
The world knows Louis Oosthuizen as a golfer. One of the best - he has proven his
mettle over and over again, with sometimes unbelievable results. Take for instance
his Double Eagle on the second hole at Augusta, the first in the history of The
Masters on that hole and the first Double Eagle at Augusta to be televised. Or his
numerous wins on various professional golf tours around the world including his
first major win of the 2010 Open Championship at St Andrews. And then of course
there was the small matter of him playing a round of 57 gross (15 under par) at
Mossel Bay Golf Club – a round of golf so astonishing that it kick-started a whole new
career for Louis - one that would benefit not only his entrepreneurial spirit, but
needy people all over the world.
Because of the 57, Louis founded the Louis 57 Junior Golf Academy, Route 57
Restaurant, Louis 57 Wines, Louis 57 Merchandise and the Louis 57 Foundation.
The Louis 57 Foundation is Louis and his wife Nel-Mare’s way of giving back to the
broader Mossel Bay community and other international charities, through their work
with the Leolan Academy. The Leolan Academy works with children with special
needs including those with Autism and Down syndrome.
The Louis 57 Foundation is hosting four charity golf tournaments with a difference
and where you and your company can also make a difference while doing what you
love – playing golf!
The Louis 57 Foundation Charity Challenge will consist of 4 National Golf Days being
held throughout South Africa with the winner of a lucky draw at each event making
a memorable trip to Mossel Bay in 2015. This includes the following:
* Local transport (return) to Mossel Bay
* 2 Night's accommodation at the 4 star Mossel Bay Golf Lodge
* 18 holes of golf at Mossel Bay Golf Club & Pinnacle Point Golf Club
* Supper at Route 57 Restaurant
* Louis 57 gifts

The winner of a lucky draw at each of the tournaments will win a golfing trip of a life time. The proceeds of the series of Golf
days will be donated to the Louis 57 Foundation as well as other charities that will be identified annually.
HAND-OUTS, PRIZES AND DONATIONS
• All participating companies can introduce the participants to their products and services by:
Providing hand-outs to all the participants at one or all of the four events. It is envisaged that we will
have between 80 and 120 payers per event.
Providing prizes (Betterball Stableford) at one or all of the four events.
If you want to contribute by way of a donation, you are more than welcome to contact the event organisers.
PARTICIPATION
• We have 88 places (22 four balls) per event available for companies @ R4,000 per event per 4 ball
• What the sponsoring company will receive:Your company’s branding on the official event brochure.
Branding on the Louis 57 website for the next year until the following event.
The company can advertise its products by giving hand-outs to the players or donating prizes.
• It would be appreciated if your company would offer at least 2 items to use as prizes – Betterball Stableford.
Includes green fees, great gifts on arrival, halfway house, prize giving dinner and the opportunity to win fabulous prizes.
• Individual players can also enter @ R1000 per player per event.

The cost for each of these events are R1000 per player and includes the following:
• 18 holes of golf
• Golf gifts
• Shared golf cart
• Half way meal
• Dinner with very special auction items
• Prize giving with fantastic prizes
• 12 month Compleat Golfer subscription
• And a lucky draw chance to win a memorable trip to the Garden Route – winner must attend in person
