Herbert Schmeck designed over 80 coasters for the Philadelphia Toboggan
Company from 1923 to 1955. This book chronicles his life at PTC as he worked
his way through the ranks to become one of the most influential wood coaster
designers of all time. A fascinating read from beginning to end, it is a must have for
any fan of wood coasters. An ACE Designer Series book with 160 pages, hundreds
of historical photos and a Foreword by Tom Rebbie of PTC.

1. You do not need to be a member of ACE to order
from this flyer. If you are a member of ACE, providing
your ACE member number will expedite processing
and qualify you for the Bulk Buyer Bonus (please see

2. An email address is not required. However, supplying
one will allow you to receive acknowledgment of your
order and allow determination of what to do if there
is a problem. Otherwise orders for issues that are no
longer in stock will be returned.

4. Note the appropriate price for the magazine issue(s)
you are ordering (they vary in price) on the order form.
Prices include the cost of postage to ship your order.
Orders outside the U.S. and Canada will be shipped
only via International Air Mail (please see instructions
#6, #8, and #9).
5. “Big Buyer Discount” and Free Issue: If you order 5-9
issues, take $1 off the price of each issue of RC!. If you
order 10 or more, take $2 off the price of each issue
ordered. This discount does not apply to The Forgotten
Legacy. On the line labeled “Big Buyer Discount”, if
you order 5 or more issues enter the total number of
issues ordered in the QTY column and either $1 (if you
ordered between 5 and 9 issues) or $2 (for 10 or more
issues) in the PRICE PER COPY column. Multiply the QTY
and the PRICE PER COPY columns and enter the result
as a negative number in the TOTAL column. “Big Buyer
Discounts” apply whether or not your order qualifies
for the Bulk Buyer Bonus (please see instruction #7).
Also for a limited time, if you qualify for the 10 or more
“Big Buyers” discount, you also qualify for a free issue
of either RC! #41, RC! #43, or RC! #47! Just check one

6. Orders to be delivered outside the U.S. and Canada
will be shipped only via International Air Mail which
requires that $2 be added for each magazine ordered.
Only for orders to be delivered outside the U.S. and

ordered in the QTY column and multiply that number
by $2 and enter the result in the TOTAL column.
7. “Bulk Buyer Bonus”: For ACE members only if your
order’s Subtotal is $75 to $99 you may take an extra
$15.00 discount. If your order’s Subtotal is $100 or
above you may take an extra $20.00 off. Simply enter
the number ($15 or $20) as a negative number in the
TOTAL column. You must supply your ACE membership
number to be eligible for this discount. This discount
does not apply to The Forgotten Legacy.
8. The Forgotten Legacy: For orders to be delivered
outside the U.S. and Canada please fill in the price
per copy as $16.00, all others please fill in the price per
copy as $19.00.
9. Make checks and money orders payable (in U.S.
funds) to “American Coaster Enthusiasts.” Credit cards
cannot be accepted for orders within the United States.
