Trizonia is the largest island (2,45 km2) of the Corinthian Gulf and the only one currently inhabited.
It is located at the SW end of the prefecture, opposite to the village of Glyfada (with the Venetian
castle) which is located at 70 km to the SW of Amfissa. The sights worth visiting include the
traditional stone-built church of Aghios Georgios, the one of Aghia Paraskevi, the old primary school
and the natural harbor hosting yachts in its marina. No cars and motor scooters are allowed on the
island. If you feel like swimming, you may try the beach of Chania and other beaches of the island.
