Position Description:
Beach Concierge - The Beach Concierge assists guests with towels, beach toys, and other beach needs. You will also make guest
reservations and offer local activities information. This position adds to the guest experience through a smile and engaging guest in
conversation. This person must have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Required skills:
Participants must speak advanced English. Participants should be physically fit able to stand on their feet all day attention to detail
and hard-working. Must have outgoing personality Able to understand and take direction from supervisor.

Dress Code (incl. Uniforms):
Employees must wear a clean authorized uniform at all times while at the hotel. This includes a company provided name tag. -Dress
Code- Uniforms will be provided. However all participants must provide black polished non-slip shoes. They should be comfortable
since you will be standing and walking a lot while working.
Grooming:
High standards of grooming and personal hygiene should be observed at all times while at work and on property. A daily bath or
shower clean hair and tooth brushing are a must. Fingernails must be clean short and well manicured. Males must be clean-shaven
and wear their hair above the collar. Females with long hair must secure hair away from the face. No facial piercings or tattoos
allowed.
Expected Schedule:
The hotel is open 24 hours a day 7 days per week. You will be provided with a schedule when you arrive. Please understand you will
not be scheduled for full time hours on your arrival. Business levels in June can be slower than July. Please be prepared for less
hours in June however hours will pick up in July and August.
Expected Minimum hours:
You should expect an average of at least 32 hours per week during the season. However hours are dependent upon business levels.
On arrival please be prepared to work 10 to 20 hours per week until business levels pick up. You may not work 32+ hours until July
depending on business levels. In July and August you should be scheduled 32 to 40 hours however this all depends on business
levels.

There are several opportunities for a second job in the area. However please remember that your primary responsibility is to the Hyatt
Regency. A second job cannot interfere with your schedule at the Hyatt. Your J-1 Visa status is dependent upon your employment
with the Hyatt Regency.

to pay a housing deposit of $400-$600 when you arrive. INCLINE VILLAGE LAKE TAHOE IS VERY EXPENSIVE. PLEASE BE

Housing Address:
Most Homes and Apartments in Incline Village Nevada cannot receive mail. You must present your housing lease with your name on
it to the Incline Village Post Office. For a small fee you will be given a post office box at which you can receive mail. No mail may be
sent to the Hyatt.
Housing Information:
You will be allowed to stay temporarily in Hyatt Hotel for up to 2 days if occupancy allows while you locate housing.
Housing is not provided by your employer. LOCATING HOUSING FOR THE SEASON WILL BE YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE IN
INCLINE VILLAGE.
YOU SHOULD TRY TO MAKE HOUSING ARRANGEMENTS BEFORE YOU LEAVE YOUR HOME COUNTRY. PLEASE READ THE

arrive. Some apartment owners may require a higher deposit to allow you to sign a short lease (4 months instead of 1 year).

training and the experience will look great on your resume. You will be serving guests at a high end resort and guests expect amazing

Airport to Incline Village, Lake Tahoe. Purchase a ticket to Incline Village. The shuttle will drop you off at the Hyatt Hotel. The shuttle
