The main issue Companies will have to address
in the future will be about talents.
Their sustainability will depend on their ability to feed, cultivate
and keep talents. So, why forget about half of humanity today?
Publications by the greatest strategy experts are now proving
that Companies implementing gender mix at the highest
levels can benefit from better results. It’s not only a question of
humanity, it also serves business competitiveness.
Gender equality is an incredible source of wealth for corporate
organizations, which boosts them, upgrades them, and opens
up an access to modernity. Gender mix leads to equality, which,
to younger generations’ eyes, has become a relevant criterion
of choice when selecting an organization.
To join the Arborus Fund,
is to believe in gender mix as a steering tool of prosperity,
is to believe in gender mix as an open-minded factor of growth,
is to believe in equality as an harmonious principle
of development.
To join Arborus Fund,
is to do everything to implement equal opportunities at work,
is to make every effort to make gender mix grow up and, as a tree,
blossom and produce fruit that Companies will collect every day.
And for a long time.

The Gender Equality European/
International Standard
The European and international standard
for gender equality
In partnership with Bureau Veritas, world leader
in certification business, the Arborus Fund
implemented an assessment and action tool
directly linked with expectations and operational
realities of international Companies.
For the first time, equality at work benefits
from an international standard which values
the efforts of Companies and involves them
into a dynamics of progress.
THE ROOTS
that support it
Commitment for the promotion and
sustainable integration of gender
equality at work, in Europe and in

The Arborus Fund was born from the
willingness of large Corporations to get
together about the gender mix key concern,
with regards to their current challenge of
competitiveness and prosperity. BNP Paribas

L’Oréal, Orange, PSA Peugeot Citroën, and
Randstad initiated the project, rejoined by
Geodis, to share their mutual foundation
based on the importance of promoting this
issue and act beyond local considerations,
in order to have gender equality at work
rise to European and international levels.

They are contributing
to its development
“The first interest of the Arborus Fund
is to be able to share best practices,
and to benchmark with HR procedures
from other companies. It is a source of
recognition for our collaborators who
have been appreciating all actions implemented
on this subject for several years.”
Philippe Noyer
Social Affair and Societal Equity Project Director
BNP PERSONAL FINANCE
“Within a world organization as complex
as GE’s, the GEES was a true challenge
to identify our European specificities in
terms of gender equality.”
Najat Lechguer
Equality and diversity Manager
GENERAL ELECTRIC
Energy Products Europe
“Contributing to the creation
of the first Dotation Fund
for Equality at Work in Europe, was for L’Oréal an
opportunity to take part into a kind of “virtuous
stimulation” between partner Companies. The
dynamics of cooperation fully played its part,
both within L’Oréal subsidiaries or with the other
Companies of the Fund.”
Jean-Claude Le Grand
Corporate Diversity Director
L’OREAL
“We decided to
be a partner of
the Arborus Fund
because we think that gender mix in jobs favors the
balance and continuous existence of a Company.”
Aline Crépin

“The idea of sharing best practices
by involving local players is a
strong tool of progress. The GEES
label is acting as an energy catalyst, in a
sensible spirit of emulation and responsibility.”
Brigitte Dumont
Deputy Group HR
ORANGE
“The international dimension of PSA
Peugeot Citroën naturally leads us to raise the
discussion on gender equality at work beyond
frontiers. The GEES label is an extremely strong
means of federating European countries around
a common project.”
Paul Philippe Uhel
Diversity Manager
PSA PEUGEOT CITROEN
“Geodis decided to join the Arborus
Fund as we were convinced that
entering a label procedure allows
ideas to step forward and barriers
to fall. The Fund helps us to promote
equality in our organization, and increases our
collaborators’ feeling of pride.”
Jérôme Puissant
International HR Director
Geodis

Former French Equality and Parity Minister,
President of the Arborus Fund Board.
“Europe is the true level where the condition of
competitiveness and performance of Companies
should be brought. Women are the first prescribers
of modern economy, as well as half of humanity,
and half of workforce. They are at the heart of the
economical model of the XXIth century.”
Cristina Lunghi
General Delegate of the Arborus Dotation Fund.
“This label offers Europe an action and assessment
