Special Collection of Residence Tax (Individual)
個人住民税の特別徴収／こじん じゅうみん ぜいの とくべつちょうしゅう
Special collection (TOKUBETSU CHOSHU) is based on the Notice of the tax special collection sent by
the city to the wage payer. It is the system where taxes are deducted directly from the salary of each
taxpayer and will be paid by the employer through a financial institution by the 10th of the following
month.

Certificate of National Pension payment deduction
国民年金保険料控除証明書／こくみんねんきん こうじょ しょうめいしょ
All the national pension payment you paid during January 1st to
December 31st is deducted when you file income and inhabitant tax. For
that process, the certificate of national pension payment is required.
You will receive it in the early November if you paid during January 1st to
September 30th . If you paid first payment during October 1st to
December 31st , you will receive it in the early February of following year.
Please attach this certificate (*right side picture) at the year-end tax
adjustment or tax declaration.
Even you paid family members’ payment, it is possible to add your
deduction. So, please file tax with family’s certificates too.
