Adapt a non-­‐ profit organiza/on set up by Marco Biagi in 2000 with the aim of promo/ng research in the field of Industrial and Labour Rela/ons from a compara/ve and an interna/onal perspec/ve. The main purpose of Adapt is to provide an innova/ve method of carrying out academic research, while developing long-­‐term rela/onships with businesses, organiza/ons, ins/tu/ons and other ins/tutes for advanced studies. www.adapt.it

To realize its purposes, Adapt: 1. works in coopera/on with the “Marco Biagi” Centre for Interna=onal and Compara=ve Studies at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia; 2. promotes two Interna=onal Doctoral Schools in coopera/on with the Italian Ministry of Educa/on, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the University of Bergamo; 3. promotes partnerships at a na=onal and interna=onal level, crea/ng a network of ongoing rela/ons between organiza/ons, research centers and Universi/es worldwide; 4. performs advisory func/ons together with the Commission for Cer=fica=on of labour contracts at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia; 5. par/cipates to several invita=ons to tender and to calls for proposals at the na/onal and interna/onal level.
