It Matters To Us!
Missions Update
ROMANIA
An Evangel team recently returned from a
Mission Trip to Romania. Those going were
Roger Hoagland, the team leader, Russ
Vargo, Mark Hannah, and Terry Carroll. The
team participated in many ministry projects
including feeding the poor, ministering to the
elderly,and preaching in various churches in
12 different cities.
We witnessed to many of these families and
preached in their churches. What we recognized is that when they turn their hearts and
lives over to Jesus and become established
in a strong Bible-believing spirit filled church,
their lives change remarkably. It was a joy to
see the Christian believing Gypsy community
thriving in their relationship with the Lord.
The focus of our
ministr y was to
reach the often
despised ethnic
group of Gypsies.
These people are
heavily involved in
criminal behavior,
prostitution, drug dealing, and theft. Only
2% receive a high school education, so
they are in great need of basic education.
The task there is huge, so we are returning next
summer to Romania to again evangelize this
community. Those interested in joining us,

Christian Martial Arts Academy will
be offering a free Self Defense and
Street Awareness Seminar
Statistics are shocking. One out of
three women is subject to an assault
over the course of her life. You can
reduce the risk by being prepared.
At this seminar you will learn:
•How to recognize and avoid bad
situations
•How to escape grabs
•How to disable an attacker
•How to use everyday items as
weapons to aid in your defense
This session will teach ladies basic
self-defense moves that are easy
for anyone to learn no matter your
age or physical abilities. Some techniques will involve using your purse,
your keys or your high heels! Lisa will
be teaching us how to never be a
victim; how to be victorious in every
situation.
We will be serving a Continental
Breakfast at 8:00 AM. Workshop will
begin at 8:30. This will be held at Minors Lane Fellowship Hall.

Jason was in a car accident had been suffering back pain since July 2014. We prayed for him
and Jason said he is totally healed and he no longer has to go to a Chiropractor. Jason also said

The R.O.C., an outreach of The Lord’s
Kitchen, kicked off to a great start on
June 16th. With the Help of 52 Volunteers
we were able to feed 145 people in
the community. We witnessed many
respond to the message and receive
Christ as their Lord and Savior.
This summer, we are expecting God to
do great things through the R.O.C. We
are so thankful for all those who came
out and will continue to give their time
serving. We meet every Tuesday at 5:00
pm to set up and the service begins
at 6:00.

for Israel) 2015 Washington Summit
July 12th -July 15th. This event is when
Christians from around the nation bring
blessings and comfort to the Nation of
Israel and the Jewish people at this very
critical time in history. Some highlights
are educational conference sessions,
the elaborate Night to Honor Israel
Celebration and Capitol Hill meetings
with our Senators and Representatives.
