athletes compete during the ‘14-’15 school year.
(That is 61% of the entire 7th and 8th grade student body)

has remained high. We had about 285
student athletes this past year at the high
school level.
That is about 1/3 of our entire student
body.
With the addition of Soccer in ‘15-’16 we
expect that number to go up a little.

BHS ATHLETICS: TRYOUTS
Allows the head coach to hold tryouts if that coach sees the need because the
number of students desiring to play a particular sport has grown too big
• Tryouts would last no longer than 3 days
• Those players who do not make the team could still remain in athletics
and would continue to work on developing as an athlete.
• Tryouts will be necessary for soccer in 2015-2016.
• Tryouts may be necessary for Volleyball, Basketball, and Baseball.
