GOLDEN PODIUM AWARDS CEREMONY: the most prestigious awards for the sports
media industry, awarding the Best Sports Images of the Year, amongst numerous
international sporting personalities in the presence of H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco.
The winners of the Sport Book Awards will be announced during this ceremony.

Created 17 years ago, the SPORTEL Illustrated Sport Book Awards reward every
year the best illustrated sport books.
Participation in 2013: 52 books - 33 publishers - 6 countries - 15 sports
The Sport book awards is in partnership with:
Edited by Electre, branch of Cercle de la Librairie,
Livres Hebdo is the first source of inspiration for French-speaking book specialists.
The selection of the Jury members is based on three principles:
> the aesthetics of an illustrated sports book,
> the promotion of sporting values,
> the originality of the illustrations presenting the subject and/or sport.
The Jury bases its decision on the richness of the book illustration bringing out the
emotion aroused by sports.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Participation to the SPORTEL Illustrated Sport Book Awards is free and open to
all publishers (french and foreigner) who have published an illustrated sports book
meeting the following conditions:
> Date of publication : between October 2013 and October 2014.
> Available for sale to the general public.
> A minimum of 50% of illustration.
> Agreement by the publisher to send two copies of the publication
to SPORTELMonaco to be examined by the jury.
Each publisher can submit several publications.
