Need playing cards, basketballs, footballs
(leather), kickballs (all sizes), jump ropes, jumbo
dustless chalk, mini-cars, Crayola Model Magic,
Play-Doh, foam dough, toddlers’ crayons, Lego
sets for older kids, craft projects (e.g., perfume
kits, jewelry kits), bubbles & bubble machines,
cloth bibs with plastic backing, boys & girls
sweatpants (all sizes), underwear (all sizes), label
machine, tissue paper, undershirts (all sizes),
batteries (all sizes), ice packs, first aid supplies,
alcohol wipes, crib blankets, small Rubbermaid
pitchers, CD players, index cards.

YOU can make it happen! Choose an activity and call
or email a Chair to volunteer, or sign up at your place of
worship. Teens are welcome at all activities - if coming
without parents, please get a parental permission form
from one of the Chairs. Children ages 12 and under
are welcome with a parent or guardian.
Financial contributions are needed. Please make
checks payable to “Works Sunday-UCP” and place
them in the offering plate at your place of worship. If
you wish, indicate which project you’re supporting.
Participating Faith Communities
Need sunscreen, lip balm with SPF, towels (bath
& hand), pillows (new), umbrellas, rain ponchos,
sleeping bags (cleaned or new), batteries (all
sizes), foot powder or spray, toothpaste,
toothbrushes, deodorant, men’s & women’s
underwear (new), women’s sports bras (new),
bottled water, baby wipes, diapers (toddler size
”pull-ups”), $10 Gift Cards (gas stations, Metro
Smart Card, Target, CVS, Giant Food & Safeway)

for families of critically ill children at Fairfax
Hospital. Will involve teams for grounds keeping,
interior cleaning, and preparation of meals and
treats. Come in work clothes.
