History
Pioneer and trendsetter

these three words have characterised Westfalia for more than 60
years. Thanks to these characteristics we have also become a reliable
OEM partner for the automotive
industry, whether it’s Opel, VW,
Ford or Mercedes.
Setting standards. This has been
Westfalia’s guiding principle for
over 60 years. In 1951 Westfalia
was the first company to convert
a VW Bully into a motor home.
In the following six decades Westfalia
created legends in Wiedenbrück
such as the James Cook, the Sven
Hedin, the Club Joker, the California
Exclusive, the Marco Polo and the
Columbus. Although these vehicle
were all quite different, they were
all milestones in the development
of motor homes – innovative solutions along with perfect craftsman-
ship and uncompromising quality.
This made Westfalia what we are
today and defined our commitment
to the future.

Design & Atmosphere
Setting standards!
You could use the Club Joker
every day as your main or second
vehicle. The overall length is 5.29
metres, the height 2.80 metres.
Sure, high roof vehicles are
never suitable for underground parking, but on the
other hand you can stand
anywhere in the vehicle, you
are protected from all kinds
of capricious weather and if
you feel like it you can take a
shower right in the middle
of the city.
The decision to convert a VW was
once again a decision we at Westfalia
made with our heads as well as with
our hearts. Because the very first
Westfalia camping bus that ever left
our works was a converted Volkswagen too.
With the new Club Joker we are continuing a tradition that saw models
such as the Joker, California Exclusive,
Sport Joker and the T1 and T2 models roll of our production lines. And
the Club Joker is again a real milestone: the basic vehicle concept will win
you over on first viewing.
Because of the high roof which
accommodates an almost 1.30 metre
wide double bed, we have managed
to achieve comfortable headroom
throughout the entire vehicle. You
will find the kitchen, bathroom and
storage compartments in the rear
area of the vehicle. The well thoughtout ground plan layout makes perfect use of the long wheelbase VW
T5, creating a feeling of space which
once again sets standards in this class.
With their innovations Westfalia
has always set standards in the camping bus market. The new Club Joker
stands for the same thing.

Mobile comfort
Go your own way!
There are good reasons for our
decision to make our own roof
development. Our own functional roof enabled us to develop
an intelligent and comfortable
bed solution with sufficient free
space in the vehicle without having a bed in front of or above
your head all the time.
More than 500,000 vehicles have
left Westfalia’s works during the
past 60 years. For this reason we
are not only the oldest but probably
the most experienced motor home
manufacturer.
This experience is why the Club Joker
is such a special vehicle. You, our
customers, who travel in our vehicles every day, provide the feedback
we need to develop this vehicle
and to ensure each model is even
better than its predecessor. That is
why you will, for example, only find
the easily foldable seat bench with
separate sleeping and sitting areas
in Westfalia vehicles or the new Flex
bathroom allowing double use of
the space in the rear or the aesthetic
and optimised kitchen block or the
Westfalia functional roof with the
trendsetting bed design.
Each Westfalia model sets new standards and the new Club Joker is no
exception to this rule.

Joker offers you autonomy. The hot
water heating runs on diesel and
the 50 l refrigerator on electricity,
therefore gas is only needed for the
