t’s only fitting that we named our company after such a place.
It’s hard to get to and it’s not for everybody. You have to earn it
with time on the water, experience, and sheer will.
Legendary fishing guide Flip Pallot and his team founded Hell’s Bay Boatworks
in 1996 to produce the finest shallow water skiffs in the world. And the latest chapter of
our journey began in the winter of 2006, when Chris Peterson and his wife Wendi purchased
Hell’s Bay Boatworks. Their commitment to continue the tradition of unparalleled craftsmanship
in our products has been the driving force behind the latest evolution of our skiffs.

SKIFFS ARE ALIKE.
Each one of our boats reflects the preferences of her owner - The wide range of Hells
Bay owners share a common passion – but each goes about it in just his or her own
way. Each one is custom built to a singular standard: to be a Hell’s Bay skiff means
to be handcrafted to tolerances unlike any other boat. To learn more, go to
hellsbayboatworks.com, or give us a call at 321.383.8223.

At Hell’s Bay, we feel
strongly that conservation
is an important part of our
role as sportsmen/women.
We’re out there getting wet
and dirty, tagging fish, and
carrying researchers to
places only our skiffs can
take them. We endorse and
participate in the Bonefish
and Tarpon Trust, The
Coastal Conservation Association, the International
Game Fish Association,
and the Guy Harvey Ocean
Foundation. Together, we
strive to keep open access
to the wild and beautiful
places that host our rich
journeys, and to use these
spaces responsibly.

water in dry comfort, while maintaining the classic Hell’s Bay characteristics of a quiet, light technical poling skiff.
STEALTH CLASS
These skiffs are designed with an uncompromising approach to minimize draft, to effortlessly pole, to be silent, and to
be the ultimate shallow water angling platform to get you into the waters in the farthest reaches of the back country.

MARQUESA 18
WAT E R M A N 1 8
Named after the Marquesa Keys near Key West, because getting
there requires crossing the Boca Grande channel, which can become
5 miles of hell without much notice. A technical poling skiff with the
buttery ride in a chop that will deliver you dry and happy, and then
silently pole up to a school of bonefish. Room for 4 • lots of storage
• spacious livewell.
Our “no-frills” hardcore sight fishing machine. Focused purely on
performance, the Waterman is a Hell’s Bay skiff reduced to the essence
of what it takes to perform at the highest level, while being a great way
to ease into the Hell’s Bay family. A great boat for everything from the
bayous of Louisiana to the mangrove creeks of the 10K Islands, the
Waterman is a refined fishing tool.

GUIDE 18
Designed to be a compact, all-terrain skiff with a soft, dry ride in
the open waters of the Keys, the Biscayne gives you the best of both
worlds: the ability to cross the nastiest water while keeping you dry
and your kidneys intact, along with the ability to silently pole the
skinniest flats. Easy to pole and spin • quiet even when anchored up
waiting for the migrating tarpon • impressive storage for a 16’ skiff.
Because no one likes to get left at the dock. A skiff similar to our Professional, but re-engineered to comfortably fish 3 people. Roomier, with more
volume forward so your buddy can get up there to take your picture with
that huge tarpon that you just spent the last 45 minutes landing. Or just to
fish, either one. Glides silently while poling, and still floats super shallow
with the extra anglers.

expression of “Everything you need, not much you don’t.” It is light, quiet,
and economical to run, combining our exquisite Hell’s Bay craftsmanship
with the ultimate spirit of sportsmanship.

We offer a Yacht Tender package available on all of our skiffs, which
includes reinforced lifting eyes and towing points. We will work with you
on the specific requirements for davits, cradles and tiedowns even custom color configurations to match your mothership. Because
sometimes those skinny waters you want to fish are an ocean away.
For those who require a more specialized Hell’s Bay skiff, we offer a
Lodge edition of many of our boats. Optimized for a Guide and his/
her guests, the Hell’s Bay Lodge edition provides a comfortable fishing
platform designed to efficiently fish multiple anglers in a wide variety
of settings.
WE ARE NOT A FACTORY. WE ARE A BOATWORKS. We have no assembly line. A boat
doesn’t go into the mold until an owner has told us exactly what they require, and our craftsmen carefully
bring it to reality at every step of the build process. Each one is custom built to a singular standard: to be a
Hell’s Bay skiff means to be handcrafted to tolerances unlike any other boat. It’s made for the long haul, in fact,
we are our own worst competition- A used Hell’s Bay skiff (if you can find one) is still a better boat than most.
The process of becoming a Hell’s Bay owner doesn’t begin with an order form, it begins with a conversation.
We sit down and discuss what your needs are, where you fish, who you fish with. Side or center? Tiller? Fly?
Bait? Every owner prefers something different, so that’s how we build them.
Our standard rigging is
the best money can buy.
We use only the finest bi-axial
polyester and Kevlar fabrics in
the layup of our boats. Handlaid and cured, we aim to make
the strongest and lightest skiffs
possible.
