Rosetta’s Bistro is the new restaurant in South Africa’s luxury casino, Emperors Palace.
The space takes its inspiration from the legend of the ancient Rosetta
Stone, a decree issued by the Egyptian king during the Roman era.
The restaurant’s decoration pays homage to the legendary stone with
hieroglyphs engraved into the stone walls. The vaulted ceilings, carved
wooden latticework and contemporary finishing touches all come together to create a feeling of eclectic harmony.
The restaurant is divided into three distinct spaces; a Bistro area for quick
meals or appetizers, a central area that has the option to be closed off for
private events and conferences, and the main restaurant with a capacity
for 290 diners.
Rosetta’s Bistro es el nuevo restaurante del lujoso casino Emperors
Palace en Sudáfrica.
Un espacio inspirado en el legado de la antigua piedra Rosetta, decreto
emitido por el rey egipcio en época romana.
La decoración rinde homenaje a este legado a través de jeroglíficos
tallados sobre las paredes de piedra. Los techos abovedados, las celosías
de madera esculpida y los acabados contemporáneos consiguen cierta
armonía ecléctica.
El restaurante queda dividido en tres espacios diferenciados; una zona
Bistro para bocados rápidos o aperitivos, una zona central que puede
ser cerrada para funciones privadas y conferencias y el restaurante con
capacidad para 290 huéspedes.
