Resident of the Month
Olive Boots
r was born olive Mae Erb at my grandparents farm home in
Ward County to Clayton and Laura Erb. After graduating
from Ryder High school in 1946, r worked as a receptionist
at Trinity Hospital in Minot. That fall I married Harold
Giffey and moved to a farm near Roseglen. We had five
sons, Gary, Garlyn, Gardell, Gerald and Greg. In 1.9TO I
began employment as a clerk at the Roseglen Post Office and was
appointed Postmaster in L974.In 1984 I married Warren Boots. We lived in
Roseglen and Parshall, and had established our retirement home in Emmet
when Warren passed away in 1989. I have 14 grandchildren, 25 great
grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons.
I enjoy retirement, and all my family and friends.

Celebrate Your Independence at Somerset Court!
In July we celebrate the independence of our country. It is a time where we can pause and
think about what our freedom means to us and those that helped us in keeping this freedom
over 24O years. If you or someone you know is thinking about moving into a new home
because they may need a little help with their personal care needs, stop by and see what
Somerset Court has to offer. They will be living in their own home where their independence
will not be taken away. Perhaps you will find there is more freedom to take part in activities
you enjoy doing. Daily meals are prepared for you, housekeeping and laundry is done to help
free up some time. With our new addition open we have added more apartments and one is
waiting just for you to call it home. We would be very happy to talk with you and your family
about how we can fulfill your/their needs and wants for "Living Life to the Fullest" at
Somerset Court. After visiting our spacious apartments let us show you the theater, where
movies are shown each day of the week. In the Auditorium we host the monthly "All City
Senior Dancer" as well as other activities. Our dining room is served in restaurant style
where you choose the meal you want with 5 weekly entrees, soups, salad bar and desserts,
or order from the menu. The Sweet Spot boasts of 24 hour coffee, tea, and ice cream, along
with homemade sweets from 2-4pm.It is a great place to meet with family and friends. For
information on assisted living here at Somerset Court, call Melissa or Dave to set up a
personal tour. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
