Welcome to the Mt. Airy Family!
We are thrilled to have you as our guest today! If you are
looking for "a family of friends" you'll find them at Mt.
Airy. I would like to personally invite you to two important things that our church offers. First, we offer small
group Bible studies for all ages. Our BSF, or Bible Study
Fellowship classes, meet every Sunday at 8:30am and
9:45am. We would love to have you join us next Sunday.
Second, I would like to meet you at the end of the service.
Please stop by and say “hello.” Thank you for investing

Today’s Message… A copy of today’s message is available through our website, our
iTunes podcast, our Mt. Airy app, or on CD. To purchase a CD, complete one of the
order forms found in the pew rack and drop it in the offering plate.
Bible Study Fellowship Invitation… If this is your first visit to Mt. Airy or you’ve been
here all of your life and you haven’t been to Bible Study Fellowship, then this invitation is for you! Each Sunday morning at 8:30, 9:45 & 11:00 small groups of people
meet to study God’s Word and to fellowship. If you didn’t make it in time to participate today, plan to join us next Sunday.

Makeover Steering Committee Meeting… The Makeover Steering Committee will
meet today at 5:15 in Building A.
Ladies’ WMU Group Meetings…
 The Dot Tripp WMU Group will meet at the home of Leita Riley this Tuesday,
June 9, at 7:00pm. Our mission project will be collecting money to send Bibles
to Korea. Please bring $10 for every Bible that you can sponsor. For directions
or details, please email Kathy Elrod at [email protected].
 The Margaret Mitchell WMU Group will meet on Wednesday, June 17, at
11:00am at the home* of Thalia Tripp. Each person should bring a salad to
share. Please contact Miriam Ausburn at [email protected] for more information. *Please note location change.
Young Adult Home Group… If you are a young career single in your 20’s or 30’s, you
are invited to attend a weekly home group on Tuesdays at 7:00pm. The location
rotates but contact Billy or Robin Sprague at 642-8347 for more details.
Young at Heart… The next meeting of the Young at Heart group will be at 6:00pm
this Thursday night, June 11, in Building A (the Fellowship Building). After our meal,
Dave Shorter will be here to share about the Potter’s House, his Christian family
counseling ministry in Easley. Come join us and find out more about his ministry. You may contact Barbara Bagwell at 979-5060 if you have a question.
Adult Choir…There will be no adult choir practice this week. Practice will resume
next Wednesday at 7:30pm in the Choir Room.
Mission Trip Sign-Ups… Please note: The dates for the mission trip to Utah have
changed. The new dates are July 23 - 31. The trip cost is approximately $875 with a
payment of $400 due TODAY. Email Chris Meaders at [email protected]
to sign up or for more information.
MASM Cleveland Mission Trip… Just a reminder that the final balance for the student Cleveland trip is due no later than Wednesday, June 10. See Chris Meaders for
more information.

Special envelopes are available for the Mt. Airy Makeover offering. We are
asking you to give sacrificially to raise the necessary funds. A list of all potential projects can be found through a link on our home page (see link below).
We hope you will prayerfully consider giving to make this makeover a reality.

Want to be a part of our Connections Ministry? We need volunteers to help each
Sunday morning in the following areas. Please see Chris Meaders for details.
Greeter Team - Greeters provide the first warm welcome, set the first impression and
are available to help people. Greeters welcome both members and guests with smiles
and kind words. They escort families to children’s rooms and answer questions.
Next Steps Table - The Next Steps Table is where guests and members come to find
help and answers to questions. This team also maintains sign-up sheets, welcome
packets, and distributes informative church literature.
