Product Features
The DataSite configured panel provides a rugged enclosure for the DataSite controller.
This enclosure has been designed to meet the requirements of IP 66/UL Type 4X/
NEMA Type 4X (outdoor). It is UL Listed for use in hazardous locations Class I
Division 2, groups A, B, C, and D, or non-hazardous locations only.
Enclosure
You can choose a polycarbonate or an aluminum enclosure.
Controller
Two DataSite controller types are available—the RTU controller, or the FLO controller
that comes with flow measurements.
Analog Input
Analog inputs for the DataSite controller can be 0…10V DC or 4…20 mA.
Mounting
The panel can be wall-mounted or free-standing (pipe-mounted), depending on your
application requirements.
Battery
Three battery options are available—14 Ah, 28 Ah or 56 Ah.
Wireless Radio Modems
A selection of Prosoft, Datalinc and FreeWave wireless radio modems is available for
integration into the panel.
Antenna and Antenna Cable
A Yagi or Omni antenna with a cable length of up to 30.5 m (100 ft) can be included.
Other Options
The following panel options are also available:
• A terminal block for wiring the RTU to the control terminals
• An IDEC display unit
• A 12V or 24V DC system voltage

Unit is UL Class I Division 2 certified only when FreeWave and Prosoft radios are selected.
Solar panels are available from local RA authorized distributors.
Please see DataSite Configured Panel Application Techniques, publication 1748-AT001 for proper sizing and selection.
Solar panels must meet UL Class I Division 2 if required.
Standard system voltage is 12V DC.
Radio surge suppressor included when a radio is specified.
Human-machine interface (HMI) option includes:
2-line, 16-character or 4-line, 20 character backlit LCD HG1X-222 is 24V DC and supports RS232 or RS485 communications.
A 12V/24V voltage converter is included.
Replaces NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure.
DC-DC converter included for voltage conversion from 12…24V DC.
If a radio is not selected, antennas and cables cannot be selected.
