p.m., Saturdays 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sundays 8 a.m.
to 6 p.m. ● VVTA fare not valid on Barstow Area
Transit routes ● BAT buses operate weekdays 7
a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
Sundays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ● BAT fare not valid on
VVTA routes ● No service is provided on following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day,
Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving

I.D. when boarding; passes are not transferable
and only valid to person originally issued; use by

● Small dogs and cats in a locked commercial
carrier, kept in seat with passenger, are permitted
● Arrive at bus stop 5 minutes prior to scheduled
departure ● Do not move, change seats, or talk to
driver while bus in motion ● Carry-ons, which
may include a pet carrier, limited to 2 packages
on Route 15 B-V Link and 6 on all other routes;
dimensions limited to 22 inches X 9 inches X 14
inches; must remain in passenger lap or under
seat; larger items not permitted ● Drivers not
responsible for remembering where passengers
wish to disembark ● VVTA not responsible for lost
or stolen items ● In case of floods or severe snow
conditions, buses will return to nearest safe
layover zone to await further instructions; every
attempt possible will be made to pick up all
passengers and deliver them to their respective
destinations ● Soliciting or distributing literature
in buses is prohibited ● Service inquiries or

The VVTA Route 15 B-V Link features one-way
fare charged per segment with two available
segments: Barstow to Victor Valley, and Victor
Valley to San Bernardino Valley. B-V Link fare
media may be used as fare for one segment
trip on B-V Link and on VVTA and Barstow
Fixed Route and County Route buses within six
hours of purchase at no additional charge.
Those with valid Omnitrans and MARTA fare
media receive a $1.00 discount when paying
B-V Link fare from stops departing San
Bernardino Valley on the same day of travel.
VALU E CARD
The VVTA Value Card is acceptable as fare and
available in $5, $10, $20 increments. The VVTA
Value Card does not expire, is a great alternative to cash, and a quick way to pay fare
without having to fumble around for exact
change. For infrequent use, Value Cards are
also great as an alternative to carrying cash,
especially for students, parents, and seniors.
T RAN S FE RS
Barstow routes offer a one-trip transfer,
when boarding and paying cash fare. The
transfer is only valid within two hours of
issuance, when transferring to the next
connecting bus on a different route at the
two available transfer points, the Barstow
Community College and Barstow Library
stops. A transfer cannot be used on the
route from which it was issued. Passengers
transferring from a Fixed to County route
bus must pay cash fare difference.

CHILDREN: Children 5 & under (3 children
maximum per adult fare; additional children
must pay student fare, if available; otherwise,
adult fare must be paid). SDM: Senior /
Disabled / Medicare: All require identification.
Seniors 60 and over. STUDENT: Age 6-13.
Age 14 and over require student identification.
VETERAN: Military veteran identification
required. 31-DAY PASS: The 31-Day Pass is
acceptable as fare for 31 days, beginning the
first day it is used in farebox.
I.D. REQUIRED: Student & discount passes require valid identification.
EXACT FARE ONLY: Drivers cannot make change & pennies are not accepted.
FARE EVASION: Use of pass by person other than person issued is subject to fines & prosecution.
VIDEO RECORDING: For passenger safety & security, buses are equipped with audio & video recording devices.
