2014 Tangent Sauvignon Blanc – Paragon Vineyard, Edna Valley
Classic and yet distinctive in aromatics, this bottling from the Niven family’s cool-climate
vineyard shows cut grass, wet cement and a touch of struck match on the narrowly
focused nose. The palate intrigues, with fresh-cut thyme and oregano lifted by a white
pepper element.

2014 True Myth Chardonnay – Paragon Vineyard, Edna Valley
True Myth is the newest addition to the Niven Family portfolio, which includes Baileyana,
Cadre, Tangent, Trenza, and Zocker, all of which are thriving under the deft stewardship
of Christian Rougenant. The True Myth line is beautifully labeled and bargain priced, and
-- BONUS -- the wine inside is great. This Chardonnay is a real value, with lemon, quince,
apple and soft oak spice aromas and flavors delivered in a viscous yet bright palate that
shows full integration and a long rich finish. It’s a perfect gift bottle for Chardonnay lovers
of all walks. One of my favorite winemakers strikes again! A Platinum Award winner at the
2016 Winemaker Challenge International Wine Competition.

2013 True Myth Cabernet Sauvignon – Paso Robles
The 2013 Cabernet from True Myth is textbook Paso Robles Cabernet, exhibiting ripe,
fleshy fruit on the palate and a floral, spicy nose. Aromas of blueberry and blackberry
dominate. On the palate the wine has excellent weight and length, with a persistent finish.
This wine was a Platinum award-winner at the 2016 Winemaker Challenge International
Wine Competition.

2014 tangent Albariño - New Vintage!
Made in the traditional style of Rías Baixas Albariño, this wine is pure
and vibrant, with a slight salty characteristic. Mandarin orange and
tangerine peel begin in the aromatics and run clear through to the
finish. The round mouthfeel is beautifully balanced by a somewhat
crisp acid structure. The refreshing quality of this wine makes it an
excellent aperitif, and it pairs well with most seafoods.

2013 Baileyana Halcon Rojo Pinot Noir
This Pinot Noir has aromas of cherry and raspberry with a hint of root
beer. It showcases flavors of ripe red fruit, plum and molasses
along with silky tannins and a very smooth mouthfeel. The light
acidity is balanced with a nice oak influence that rounds out this fullbodied Pinot Noir. The finish is long and smooth with lingering flavors
of supple fruit.

Aromatics of orange blossom, pineapple, grapefruit and a hint

2013 La Entrada Pinot Noir - New Vintage!
This Pinot Noir has aromas of black and red cherry, anise and a hint
of cedar. Characteristics of cherry cola, vanilla, and cinnamon are
entwined with bright red fruit for a beautiful balance. Silky tannins with
a medium body are prevalent along with great acidity, complimented
by delectable fruit flavors.
